Sonic games are by no means amazing (with the exception of 3, Colors, and possibly 2), but they aren't bad for the most part either. Boom is a spin off not even made by the main Sonic Team. It was a Big Red Button game whose problems mainly stemmed from the fact that it was moved from PS4/X1 mid development and the fact that it wasn't even completely finished. They just needed to rush out a game because of their deal with Nintendo. Funny how frequently they mess up when they rush their games out for other publishers. I don't have a problem with Shadow the Hedgehog though. Edgy nonsense aside, the gameplay was varied and there was a cool alignment system. The bosses were fun, and there was even a good multiplayer mode. I think that game was good, nothing more nothing less. DesuDeku posted... Wait, so it was Microsoft's fault!? Yeah. You can look it up, but essentially the game was supposed to be released an entire year later but Microsoft was going to cut ties with SEGA if they didn't release it for the 360's holiday. In hindsight they probably would have been better off ignoring them and made it PS3 exclusive. I tried to open myself up to indie games more just to play something on it, but its selection of indie games is so mediocre. Aside from that it's just a bunch of neogeo games (digital wise). As for physical games, they've been trickled out like water dripping from a faucet. Only two or three releases a month MAX, which is barely anything, especially considering seems as if a majority of them are ports or half baked sequels. Come August 1 2018 and I could probably recommend one in good faith a lot more, but as is unless you're okay with only playing a handful of games and not much else for a few month, I wouldn't recommend it. Especially when there's alternatives like the PS4 and X1. That really is what getting a job is like. You lose the homework and studying, but you also don't get a huge three month break every year. @DanHarenChamp posted... My point is that sometimes there are larger concepts professors won't even cover at all. I had to teach myself SN1/SN1 and E1/E2 reactions and parts of stereochemistry back in sophomore year of college because of an inept professor. Ideally your professor should give you at least the foundation or background of a topic you're intended to know for an exam. Believe me, I worked my ass off at times studying.
