Yes, I've put 150 hours in Zelda and played a few hours of Mario Kart, the latter being fun but already played so much on the Wii U. I wish I could buy Splatoon 2 though, but I'm poor at the moment.

Yes. Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 DX, and Zelda BotW are all very fun games. I haven't started ARMS yet, though.

Yeah I've played it pretty regularly since launch which is actually pretty surprising. I'm a multi console owner so it's regular for me to avoid consoles for a month or two. Especially if they've just launched. But the Switch is just so damn convenient to play for my current lifestyle so I always want to just keep playing on it.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be playing it for the rest of the year too. I'm getting both Sonic Mania and Mario + Rabbids for it this month alone.

Funny enough, my favorite game on the system isn't even a Switch exclusive (Puyo Puyo)

But yeah, overall I'm glad, although it doesn't get nearly as much play as my PS4 still.

like BotW is a great game, and maybe one of the best ones I've played in a long time (from early impressions), but all together, I spent almost $400, and I don't feel it's been worth it.

I guess I'll see how I feel as time goes on, because I've only had it less than a day, so it might grow on me.

I got both the PS4 and Vita at launch so getting something like BOTW day one was a massive improvement for me personally heh.

Zelda, Mario Kart and Bomberman have given me over 200 hours of enjoyment combined, and the fact that the system is portable led to me putting more hours into the Switch version of Minecraft than any other version. In my opinion, it's already given me enough enjoyment to be worth the purchase, and I still haven't played Splatoon 2, ARMS, Pokken DX, FE Warriors, Mario Odyssey, and a lot more exclusive still to come.

Plus, having portable versions of big multiplatform games like Rocket League, WWE 2K18 and Skyrim will be awesome when they come out.

at Darmik - I was gonna pass on the PS4, but I find a good deal during Black Friday last year. I probably should have waited for the Switch to have a bigger library. I'm looking forward to the MarioxRabbids game, though.

It took a while for the PS4 to really find its footing. You came in at the perfect time. This year has been extremely solid for the PS4 and the best year for the system so far.

But that first year or so was bloody rough. Just a bunch of mediocre last gen ports and sequels. I'm loving the Switch in comparison. But yeah it never hurts waiting a year or two for the library to build itself up. I'm happy with the Switch dripping out a major game each month or so with a bunch of interesting indie games in between. Considering the momentum for the thing so far it should just get better and better I think.

The Switch is having a strong showing for its first year. Breath of the Wild is a must play title providing you don't have a Wii U. ARMS is surprisingly really fun. Splatoon 2 is a nice little game to play every now and then. Plus, Mario XCOM edition, Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Super Mario Odyssey are still on the way as far as Switch exclusives go for this year.

It's a great console so far in terms of games already. I would say pick it up now if there are at least 3 games currently out that interest you. If not, you should wait a few more months.

It's an amazing console with not much to play on it. I tried to open myself up to indie games more just to play something on it, but its selection of indie games is so mediocre. Aside from that it's just a bunch of neogeo games (digital wise).

As for physical games, they've been trickled out like water dripping from a faucet. Only two or three releases a month MAX, which is barely anything, especially considering seems as if a majority of them are ports or half baked sequels.

Come August 1 2018 and I could probably recommend one in good faith a lot more, but as is unless you're okay with only playing a handful of games and not much else for a few month, I wouldn't recommend it. Especially when there's alternatives like the PS4 and X1. Hell even the 3DS.

I have both BotW and MK8, and its definatey been a worthy investment.

I used to make fun of the Wii u and its owners back in the day, but the switch is definately a respectable system that I've been having lots of fun with!
Gonna get me Splatoon 2 soon.

I have close to 10 games, and have only finished one.
Granted three are endless (two racers and a puzzle game).

100% satisfied.

Switch's online is atrocious. You need an app to do voice chat. Mario kart 8 you cant even invite friends to play with and also play randoms at the same time.
