Niki Haley showed she's a strong contender. I'm not sure a female President will ever emerge from the Republican Party, however she showed that she's able to give a pleasant face and smile to Christian Nationalism, which make no mistake she would do even though she manages to escape a lot of scrutiny for her equally reprehensible views to Trump.

This is fair, all I can say is maybe it won't happen or it will become irrelevant anyways.

However, there are glaring problems with the U.S. that make me want to get out of it and would still persist even if the GOP imploded tomorrow. There's a lot of societal sickness and attitudes in this nation that I just don't gel with and don't match my values. This country handles certain things with such asininity that any other nation that could call itself our political peer looks on in horror. I don't think it's wrong to want to live in a sane nation with a populace that isn't focused on self-destruction and seeking to hinder their neighbor out of jealously for not being able to personally benefit from said aid.

Yes, Germany was what I was planning on using as an entry point to the greater European Union Network. Ultimately I'd like to end up in Iceland, if they would have me. I'm also thinking about teaching English abroad and weighing which countries allow that as a pathway to citizenship. As stated previously, I am a poor planner.

There was one pretty obvious change, yeah. Didn't really affect much though except being less stupid.

That aside, though, pretty much the entire movie is pretty much the comic book, just moving. I'm talking, the camera is in the same place, the motion is the same, they clearly went through panel by panel and figured out just how accurate of a shot they could turn it into.

In contrast to the typical adaptation, which is clearly just some director making the crappy film of his crappy dreams, and shoving in an existing IP as lazily and loosely as possible for the instant ticket sales.

From what I understand, it was likely to be moved there anyway, even if he got the indictment in DC. It would have been all of the delays you see in his DC case on top of Trump delaying it even more with his attempt to get the case moved to Florida. And all of this would be slower because of the slower DC Circuit of appeals to begin with.

As for Trump and Christianity or the Christian right the Evangelicals are slowly becoming more of a political force than religious. Evangelical church attendance has declined yet Evangelicalism is on the rise. On top of that some are starting to openly denounce the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. The Christian right is slowly losing any religious trimmings beyond some vague belief in God/the afterlife and their view of Jesus being some contradictory mess I can't put my finger on. I think Trump is some kind of low key theist who sees himself as God's chosen person who is always right because he is that much of a megalomaniac.

Which is blasphemous and I'd like to say no real Christian would believe, however then we have Mike Johnson declaring himself Moses to a bunch of evangelicals when he thought nobody was recording. He has spoken himself as the Chosen One, literally, however I think he only does that to appease the evangelicals who see him as their messiah for turning this nation into a Christo-fascist state. Also, they've also been a political force, they're the ones who have been pushing the "pro-life" agenda and trying to change our law to fit their views.

Ultimately, putting believe in a higher power means Trump not viewing himself as a god, which I don't think his narcissism gels with.

Like I alluded to earlier I'm afraid we can still sink lower than Trump and I do believe that someone far more Gung ho about Nazi politics would be even more dangerous than Trump who is a fascist but has yet not committed to their racial policies with full gusto. If Providence forbid Slug Virus gets another term and does that I will be the first to admit how wrong I was about him. Right now I see him as a fascist who sees the Nazis way to power as a useful model but doesn't commit to the worst of their racial policies.

We already know he plans to enact Project 2025 and seeks to persecute and incarcerate his critics and people he sees as enemies. I don't doubt there are people in the party worse than him waiting for him to pass the torch, however that does not mitigate the damage he will cause.
