1.) US is a two party system. Either Biden wins, or Trump wins. Voting third party is a waste, sorry you have to pick between old establishment Demtrist and a fascist. But, you do.
2.) Low turnout favors republicans. The Republican candidate is a fascist. Ergo, low vote counts and abstainees enable the fascist
3.) "But Gaza!" What's happening is a terrible, horrible injustice. But, actual human beings surrounding the war and domestically, and not the bureaucrats, know this. If you care about Gaza, you vote in the Dem that could be talked out of it, rather than the Republican that would gleefully hit the "Nuclear Winter" button.
4.) LGBT people have already been overwhelmingly targeted by popular ideologues on the Right. Their rights, as well as those of women, minorites, etc, would all come under attack and oppression by the GOP. If you have a valid conscience, you should be voting Blue in our first past the post system.
Oh, one more thing -
5.) There are more issues than just Gaza. Consider the big picture.

Everyone's on board for punishing actual sex criminals, that's not a controversial stance. The problem arises that if they were to pass a "death penalty to pedophiles" it would overwhelmingly be used to ostracize and target gay and trans people because conservatives are so fucking dumb that they think all trans people are sex criminals.

It's the same reason the death penalty itself is a bad idea, just distilled to sex crimes. Innocent people will die, it just isn't worth it.
