Honestly, I think these judges are playing soft, because if they play hardball, then other courts may overturn their rulings, as we just saw with the Weinstein case. So by dragging their feet and playing dumb, they can point to a reason why they're going to give harsher punishments. Trump has violated his gag order over a dozen times now and prior to the last judgement, Secret Service was supposedly checking on how they handle jail time for his actions, so since he got off lite last time, it stands within reason that the punishment will incrementally escalate until there's no other option but to hold him in contempt for violating the order and simply jail him. Supposedly this is what Trump claims to want, but that's because he truly thinks he's untouchable. But once it happens and he isn't able to tweet, truth, or speak about the trial in public at all, he'll realize what a big mistake he's made. He also wants delays. Gag order hearings cause delays. --- Narutaki was right. This is all Decade's fault.

I think the judge will also rule that either Trump can not use social media, or his lawyers are responsible for monitoring his social media usage. That makes sense. In regards to his security detail, yeah they'd have to physically be there, but not in a prison cell. I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to just wander around freely when personally assigned to him, so I see no difference between standing outside of a door at his house or standing outside of his cell next to a correction's officer. The trickiest part is interaction with other inmates. I generally don't condone solitary confinement unless they're are an violent threat to others, however Trump's influence is the kind of thing that would realistically lead to a white supremacist gang riot/attempt to overthrow the prison if he were allowed to associate with them as I'm sure they are Trumpers themselves. So he would need some form of limited interaction with other inmates that's heavily monitored. I mean it's just due to logistics. This is obviously uncharted territory for everyone involved. --- Narutaki was right. This is all Decade's fault.
