Even if we take the Dyson Sphere claims as credible, it's quite probable that even such an advanced civilization can't find a way around the limits on velocity imposed by relativity.

Even if they have, the first radio broadcast was in 1897, an awful lot less than 1000 years ago (I imagine the signal strength wasn't spectacular either).

This hypothesis (such as it is) speculates as to the presence of incredibly advanced technology, not fucking magic.

Yes I got to play MSG before the European release (often a long wait back then), but it turned out to be quite difficult to make much progress when you don't speak Japanese, and consequentially have no idea where you're supposed to be going or what you're supposed to be doing.

I could try to make them less racist, homophobic, transphobic etc, but all that would happen is they'd run off to follow the next person willing to voice their prejudices.

In much the same way that Donald looked at the vast array of astroturfed angry pressure groups, and realised he could take them away from the mainstream GOP who paid for them just by saying the quiet parts out loud.

Desperation, he can't put the election off much longer, is way behind in the polls, and has no one to blame except his own party for the state of the country.

I guess all that's left for him is to try and grab a few anti-immigration votes even if the policy harms the education sector and business. Party before country as ever with today's Tories.

I bet you have, he has many names, and they will fill whole topics talking to each other.

Change in attitudes, 20 years ago it would have been, "lucky young fella, wish I'd had a teacher like that". More recently it has been acknowledged how damaging such relationships are to the young man.

Still far less common than predatory males exploiting their position of course.

That, your selective memory does the rest.

I've enjoyed it a great deal, the combat is first rate (although a hard mode wouldn't go amiss), the classes are nicely varied, and the world is beautiful.

Sure, you'll never give a stuff about any of the NPCs and the story is threadbare, but the first game wasn't any different on that score.

8/10 for me, but I love DD and especially the pawn mechanic, which likely accounts for the extra point.

Very much hope we get an expansion with new enemies, loot etc at some point.

I dunno, but how many of your alts still have CE access to throw said stones?

Don't know about that, suspect it's quite auteur led rather than focus grouped, and so will have design choices which will probably frustrate some.

Almost certainly my GOTY (I loved the first one) though.
