Oh thank god. It didn't f*** me over completely. And guess what? This mission is called THE FINAL SHOWDOWN! That means I'm almost done! Yes yes yes yes yes!

Okay, so I'm on the SHIELD Helicarrier and I need to take out all of the jammers to allow Moon Knight in and so I can set bombs inside the ship. Now, the SHIELD units are infected too, so I have a ton of SHIELD enemies and regular symbiotes attacking. You run up the the jammers, mash A until you throw off the top of them and punch them to explodey death. Yup. Do this three times. I web everything so I don't need to bother with them. Once I get that, I have to go the hull of the ship to plant a bomb. Kill the enemies there, and I do it. Then I need to do it. Spidey basically dives into a turrett's hole and throws down the bomb, then catapults himself out. I put it in the other side of the hull, and then I have to go to the bottom of the ship and toss another on. Moon Knight says he'll pick me up but, uh...

...

.......

........

sigh...

Venom is now a giant hydra creature with tentacles. He tells us he needs Spidey to be in him. ...Seriously, Venom Hydra. With half a dozen heads. Mother f***er, game. What's wrong with you?

Anyway, this fight is pretty lame. I just Web Strike the heads when they pop out, then time it so I would hit them normally. After three times, the head goes down. There are three heads. The boss also spits out a bunch of symbiotes, but you can ignore them completely. When all the heads are down, Spider-Man grabs one of the turrets and fires a huge blast at him, blowing him up. Moon Knight tells Spider-Man they need to find a way to shatter Venom into pieces though! Spider-Man stands there and... QTE!

"Eddie! I want to talk to you, the real Venom!" And if I don't hit it, Spidey gets eaten as if Venom were a shark diving onto land. Ahahaha. You miss the second one and he just smashes the turret Spidey's on. I nail it though and Spidey zips to a turbine (after almost falling in it). I miss the next one and Venom snatches him up and eats him. Spidey zips and goes to the side of the ship, where normal sized Venom is there, trying to fight it. But giant Venom grabs them both if I miss the next QTE! But then Venom is there, asking Spidey to help him! I get a good or bad choice now! I say "YES LET'S HELP VENOM!" But Venom proceeds to heave Spider-Man away (HOW IS THIS A GOOD CHOICE!) and then crawls into a turbine, saying "I'm going to die... like a man!" And he blows the f*** up. The whole helicarrier explodes while it hits the water then. And... that's it.

Spider-Man is on a rooftop, talking about how Manhatten was starting to become good again. Mary Jane walks up and jokes that he's actually narrating. Then she asks if they're really going to do this.... and then Spidey says if it gets her to forget about him narrating, sure! And... Spidey proceeds to grab her and zip through the sky with her. ...Yup. That's our ending. We have the credits full of concept art and such. ...This is literally how our game ends, people. It shows one cool piece of art in particular, with Symbiote Moon Knight, which might have been pretty awesome.

And that's Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. It's a very, very bad game. It's glitchy as hell and does not have a good plot in the very least. It did some cool things, but it did some really awful things as well. It's just not very fun to play because the game impedes it with stuff that doesn't make sense or repetitive missions and such.

I'll blaze through a Black Spider-Man playthrough and comment on how Black Spider-Man fights and any plot differences (such as black Spidey choices), but only if there's enough interest in it. Otherwise, I'm done with this freaking game.

Why did I stop reading Green Lantern to play this? :(

Oh dear god,. I head to Fisk Tower, and now... Symbiote Vulture attacks where they're dropping the bomb! OH NO! He talks in a very civilized manner, which is hilarious when he looks identical to this:



Come on, game. At least give him a badass voice. So yeah, we need to stop Symbiote Vulture now. Do we have any other characters in this game that can still turn into a symbiote? Dear lord, I hope not. Wait SYMBIOTE TINKERER AND SYMBIOTE KINGPIN NOOOOOOOOO!

Alright, so I get sent to the city where I need to wallop Vulture and his symbiote friends. I Web Strike all of them until I get to Vulture, and then I try to reach the building, which sends me into a cutscene and puts me on a building far away... uh, alright. I kill the pods I see there because the game told me so and I go back to Web Striking and Air Attacking Symbiote Vulture. Eventually, he's hurt enough that SHIELD comes in to bomb the place. Spidey can now swing on planes! Spidey has a bunch of really lame lines here. "It looks like there's one less pod in the world!" "Ooooh look at me! I'm a big scary old guy with wings!" ...Yup.

Also, I had that hilarious glitch again where Spidey dives into the top of a building and his legs bounce around. That was funny.

Anyway, I keep Web Striking and using the special attack to take him out, because that's all that really works in this fight, and he gets taken down. And then... what else but QTE!? Symbiote Vulture is falling... and if I miss the first, he just kind of smacks a few things as he falls. Well, alright then. The rest of these just end with Vulture hitting something. I... don't get it. He hits the ground if I get all the QTEs right anyway. What the f***?

Anyway, I get the choice now to set off the bomb. Vulture is talking to us SOMEHOW NOW and explains that Spidey can choose between setting it off and ridding the city of the symbiotes... or disabling the bomb so he can keep his powers. ...Alriiiight. This choice is made for me based on my alignment. I get the good choice, obviously, and Spidey's black suit melts away. Meanwhile, all of the people are saved! Hooooooray!

But wait, Moon Knight has more for us! There's a bunch of symbiotes on the SHIELD Helicarrier still. Not sure why the bomb didn't affect them, but alright. Moon Knight tells Spidey what to destroy so he can sweep the rest of the people and.... my game f***ing freezes on the loading screen. F*** you game, you piece of f***ing glitchy pile of s***. God f***ing damnit. If I have to play this Symbiote Vulture battle again, I'm done for the day. If it mercifully saved my game after that, I'll keep playing though.

I'm pretty sure Big Show is a big enough of a badass (and has shown he is enough) that he can just knock the damn thing out of Brodus's hands with his big meaty fist, among other things. He's literally shown as a face or heel that somebody wielding a chair doesn't scare him and he handles them just fine.

And I watched the end of the main event again.

- Ref knocked out.
- Brodus Clay comes out with a chair, which scares Big Show for some reason.
- Santino and Alex Riley come out because and Big Show shoves the cage, knocking them out.
- Zack Ryder comes out to an enormous pop, only to get knocked out through the cage.
- Big Show is suddenly not afraid to climb up the cage and brave Brodus, but Kofi comes out and kicks him a lot.
- Cena AA's Big Show and tries to pin him, but no ref. He then decides he needs to climb up the cage wall furthest from him to escape, rather than the open cage door a few feet away from him.
- Big Show tries to escape the cage door, even though Brodus is standing there still.
- Big Johnny lightly swats at Cena with his crutch, barely able to even do that much without falling over, and Cena is too afraid to escape.
- Brodus Clay decides that Big Show doesn't need stopped any longer and runs over to take out the real threat, BIG JOHNNY.
- Cena escapes just before Big Show does and wins, despite there not being an actual referee able to call the match.

The f*** were the thinking?

After watching Sin Cara vs Hunico with my full attention, it's painful how much Hunico carried that match. He had so many awesome moves, and Sin Cara just looked sloppy. He barely even used any moves also. Like... Hunico is just so much better in every way. They need to push him. He could be huge if used right.

Regaro, you are making very little sense to me. I feel like you are having some kind of lapse in logic somewhere.

This reminds me of the one time I had to work with a partner. He was impulsive and made very wrong assumptions. One day, he thought he could haggle with a mad serial killer. We were pinned down behind our vehicle and he wanted to try and talk to him. He asked the man to talk, because he had a hostage in his home. He stood up and set down his gun with his arms up. Before I could tug my partner down, he was shot in the chest and killed. All because he made poor assumptions about our culprit.

Since then, I've never had another partner. After all, why do I need a second one? Chad is more than enough, and three partners is one too many, if you ask me.

The bugs in this game are like, ridiculous. This is also without me mentioning each time that the web swinging and web zipping doesn't work for literally no reason at all. Or the terrible aiming when you try to do combos sometimes. Or sometimes I'll target breakable geometry for no reason. Or all of the times when my rapidfire web shots just cut out for no reason. This game is just so buggy that I've come to accept it and will just mention when humorous or major ones happen.

I spam my specials in order to keep the pain on Scream Cat and she ends up going down for the count. Like, this fight is so stupid now. It's just the symbiotes going after Mary Jane and Scream Cat going after me. It's still frustrating to fight against with all of the boss's stupid auto-hit moves. Anyway, I win and it's QTE time! Scream Cat goes after Mary Jane. I fail the first time and she throws the b**** off the helicarrier. Can this be canon? Spidey shoots webbing at Scream Cat if he succeeds and then Scream Cat knocks Mary Jane off the edge after. You must save her as she dangles off the edge! ...I don't though, and she falls to her death. Good times. Spidey leaps on Scream Cat and then pulls Mary Jane up. Spidey gets the chance to strike, and if he fails, he lets out a girlier death scream than Mary Jane when he's thrown off the ledge (and apparently can't save himself despite being F***ING SPIDER-MAN!) If I succeed, Spider-Man grabs Black Cat, swings her around, and throws her all the way onto another building. SMASH she lands on the ledge, SMASH a second ledge, then CRACK the pavement. XD

Spider-Man then screams in shock "CAAAAAAAAAT!" Yeah, how shocking that she's in pain when you heave her as far as you can with your super strength. Spidey zips over and Black Cat is in a big shattered area in the pavement. She's barely conscious and seems like she's going to die. She talks about how she loves Spidey and such and... good or evil choice time! I choose good and Spider-Man puts her on the SHIELD helicarrier, and Black Cat tells Mary Jane that Spider-Man really loves MJ. Lovely. MJ tells Spider-Man to come back to her, and he says "You know I will." How terrible.

This is all I can take now though.

Alright, so basically I need to escort a bus to a bunch of SHIELD domes to protect them. I let a lowrider blow up that was following us. But we have a SHIELD tank that supposedly helps out. Basically, I just web everything so it can't hurt the bus. Easy enough! I do this two times. And then I had to take out a bunch of enemies at the next point so they can put the dome up and be escorted there. And then... I do the same thing again. Web of Shadows making me re-do the same thing twice over? Impossible! After that, mission success. Since this game is so buggy, I can still hear the turret blasting off in the mission success screen. lol

And wow, this game. After that, Spider-Man has a freak out because HE CAN'T FIND MARY JANE AND LUKE CAGE AND THE WEREN'T WITH THE REST OF THE GROUP AND HE DIDN'T NOTICE THAT SOMEHOOOOW! He goes up to Fisk, yelling about it, and he says "Looks like Spider-Man saved everyone but those he cares about the most." Spider-Man has a freak out and almost hits Fisk with the dark suit, but he says he made a promise and then runs away. And then it shows a montage of the opening video in all of its pretentiousness. It takes us to when he gets pounced on by all of the symbiotes and he screams and throws them all off with his symbiote suit and says he is sorry that he had to break his promise one more time and use the suit now. ...Then I get rid of the suit immediately after. Well then! Now... I need to beat Symbiote Black Cat. OH NO! I hunt her down, but she looks a lot like Scream.

She looks cool, at least. I fight her and she basically has all of Black Cat's moves from before, just more flashy due to hair tendrils and such. I beat her down and when I get to 2/3, she lets out a screech. ...Yeeeeeah, Scream rip off. And now this fight is obnoxious because she can keep auto grabbing me. What the f***? How am I supposed to stop that? I get her to 1/3 and then MOTHER F***ING MARY JANE SAVES SPIDER-MAN BY DROPPING DOWN ON A SHIELD HELICARRIER AND SHOOTS AN ENEMY WITH HER SHOTGUN I DO NOT EVEN JOKE. I DO NOT EVEN S*** YOU NOT. THIS IS MARY JANE. SAVING SPIDER-MAN. WITH A SHOTGUN. Now I need to save Mary Jane from death. God damnit all. Apparently Mary Jane can hold for her own though since I barely even need to protect her. WHAT A BADASS RIGHT GUYS? THAT'S WHAT MARY JANE WATSON IS!

A thief that is so good that he can steal so effectively... and a cop who needs to find him and stop him. This is excellent! It's like a page out of one of my crime novels. I'm sorry, Justin. But I'm afraid if you want people to cooperate with you, you should be up front with what you are doing. Why, exactly, would we work with you when you've pulled a gun on people and have continued to be shady?

This Justin really doesn't know how to be a proper agent, Chad. I guess he didn't make it through the academy. It's sad, because it's a fun place. People are much more likely to work with you with a pleasant demeanor and a calming smile. Be personable, and they will cooperate and trust you much better. It may take time, but in the long run... I think it's for the best.
