I did some digging, and it turns out that they are both midcard in Zhang....but Regal is one of only five people with A* pop in the US. Why he's leaving that to be a midcarder in Canada, I haven't a clue.

I take that back. Abra can still be leveled. He gains like, the smallest amount of EXP for each time he teleports. So after over 20 times doing any given level, he might level once. Maybe. It's probably closer to 25.

I did the new challenge and Mt. Moon.

See, I found Growl to hinder more than it helped because there were times where they turned around so many times that they were right in the middle of an entire big wave and they ignored either the Geodude to kill them or they ignored the wave instead. I think Leer helped a lot more. It nullified his Harden and lowered the defense further.

Jesus, that was rough.
I beat it with: Ivysaur - Razor Leaf Beedrill - String Shot Ekans - Leer Mankey - Fury Swipes Ratticate - Sucker Punch Butterfree - Confusion I kept Ekans in the center to lower the Defense of everything. Then I moved Ivysaur and Butterfree to the same side as the Geodude each time and moved Mankey and Ratticate to the side with the big wave. I tried Pikachu with Thunder Wave for a long while, but it just didn't work. I also tried Pikachu's Growl too, but that just made everything avalanche worse. But when I caught Ekans I figured that he could lower Geodude's Defense to manageable levels. -- Xbox GT: PrivateBiscuit1 Down with Zhang. Let there be Biscuit! |
