Anyway, next up we get a chance to see some CANADIAN LIFTERS! OH GOD YES! Rick Victor w/ Sofia Cortez (who is looking very hot and unique) & Paige vs Richie Steamboat. OH NO WE PROBABLY WON'T SEE ANY CANADIAN LIFTERS GOD DAMNIT! I pray that Brad Maddox gets involved so we can see a Canadian Lifter. Rick Victor and Richie Steamboat are still very awesome. Rick Victor has stepped up his game so much, and he's wonderful. Byron thinks everyone is going to jump on the Rick Victor bandwagon. ALREADY THERE BYRON!
Chris: Some people call Rick Victor... bohemian. He calls himself a space lord. Byron: *scoffs* You should hear what people call you behind your back.
So Richie hits JTG's Shout Out move and gets to the top rope. Paige distracts him so Rick Victor can nail A CANADIAN LIFTER! YEEEEEEEEEEAH! He then pulls Richie to the center of the ring and nails THE TIGAH BOMB! But Richie kicks out! Victor distracts the referee by trying to bring a chair into the ring. Paige runs in and grabs Richie, and she holds him so Sofia Cortez can nail an awesome flying headscissors. WOW! Isabelle from Tough Enough earning her stripes! Wow! Steamboat kicks out though! He goes for another Tiger Bomb, but Richie fights out and nails a Super Kick! VICTOR GOES DOWN! Victory for Richie! Brad Maddox runs into the ring and nails his AROUND THE WORLD JAWBREAKER on Richie! Ouch! He does a little dance and we learn that move is called the Deal Breaker! Brad sits down and starts talking crazily to Richie Steamboat before getting out of the ring.
Next up, we got an interview with AW and the tag champs Corey Graves and Jake Carter. Summer Rae has the mic though. Gross. She says in her terrible way that Corey Graves and Jake Carter will face The Ascension (Kenneth Cameron & Conor O'Brien) next week. AW gives a speech about knowing who is the talent in FCW. "I make more champions than Wheaties!" That was good. He says there's money to be made and peaces out with his boys.
Next up is Bo Rotundo vs Leo Kruger. Ugggggggh. I don't want to see this match again, and I don't want to see Bo Rotundo win like he probably will.
Chris: Leo Kruger is mocking Bo Rotundo and calling him BoBo! Byron: Haha... BoBo, I like that.
Anyway, the match is alright. Oh hey guys, want to guess how this match ended?

So it was actually a really good show. Antonio and Kassius was great. Bray Wyatt was great. Brad Maddox was phenomenal. And Richie Steamboat vs Rick Victor was fantastic.

Yesss we get Byron Saxton on commentary. Oh, and Chris Russo.
Man, Antonio Cesaro's FCW theme song is so much better than his crappy Smackdown one. (Btw, why was he not on Smackdown this week?) Anyway, surprisingly, it's Antonio Cesaro vs Kassius Ohno. KINGS OF WRESTLING EXPLODE! I anticipate that Cesaro will carry this match to something great, since Ohno is good at being carried. I think Ohno is a face for some reason. It was a very, very good match though. I think Kassius might finally be getting into the WWE style now. He goes for a Roaring Elbow eventually, but Cesaro tugs the referee in the way and the referee is knocked out. They start brawling until another referee throws the match. FCW stars Aiden English, Jiro, Garrett Dylan, and CJ Parker come in to try breaking it up. Kassius Ohno wins by DQ, which makes them fight even more.
Next up, Bray Wyatt (Husky Harris) is in the ring with Eli Cottonwood and Bray gives a speech. He gives a weird speech about how he's sitting right next to everyone watching now and using words that cut them like blades, and they'll come to love Bray Wyatt while their friends and family will betray them eventually. He then says that eventually, they will love him like a father and that one taste of the apple (which he has with him) will be delightful. He sings Time is On My Side again and says "Let me in." Yeah, someone definitely saw Fallen with Denzel Washington recently.
Anyway, Bray Wyatt vs Benecio Salazar is up. And I'm very disappointed that our resident lucha expert hasn't told us about him. Hey, Husky's got a lot more tattoos now. He applaudes Benecio and gives him a handshake. Husky sits beside Benecio while he's in the corner.
Bray: Do you understand now...? Do you understand that!? [He starts to pummel him] Chris: My god, what is he doing? Byron: That's a little awkward, yeah.
Then Bray hits a big body splash in the corner, tugs Benecio out to dance with him before kissing his forehead and driving him into the mat with his twisting Flatliner thing. He wins! He then shakes the unconscious Salazar's hand.
OMG A BRAD MADDOX PROMO YES YES YES! I will transcribe it because it's incredible.
"Because I defeated a certain superstar at a live event recently, I have been granted a title match against a certain Jack Briscoe 15 Champion. And I have decided that I am going to leave an impression-- literally-- on Richie Steamboat's face. I... can't stand you, Richie. I know. It's been a while. You've done well for yourself. Yeah, Branagh is a fantastic director, and I was really excited he was announced as the director for Thor because I was like "Oh, this story is right up his alley." Hell, just seeing how he really makes you feel for Loki is perfect since Loki's entire thing is totally Shakespearean. I feel bad when people think Thor sucked, mostly because it's a story based on mythology, which means the elements are archaic in nature. But they do such a good job with it.
I dunno, I just really f***ing loved Thor. lol

If you go into Thor with the foresight that you are going to be facing a mythology story, it's great. It's a mythology story heavily influenced by Shakespearean tropes. The director is Kenneth Branagh, who is known for dedicating most of his life to doing Shakespeare plays and movies, and winning awards for them, so they picked a good actor to show that off.
So while people will say that the love at first sight stuff is lame, it's Shakespeare.

From: Jeff Zero | #170 Speaking of civilians, it's a superhero cliche that I always find myself rolling my eyes at when a bunch of hapless civilians bumble about until Los Superheroes show up on the scene and save them and then they're all doe-eyed and whatnot. I get it, and I'm not saying I can think up a way to change that without messing with the fabric of the genre, but I always feel like I'm supposed to feel like I'm one of those hapless civilians because my childhood dream of watching my favorite superheroes on the big screen has come true and since that doesn't apply to me I just sorta roll my eyes the whole time because it's all so predictable.
See, the only time this was relevant was during the Captain America scene, which was absolute perfection. The entire point of Captain America is that he was this hero way back in the past that everyone idolized, and the only hero back then. So the point of that entire scene was to show off that Captain America is still that beacon and icon of true heroism. I mean, everyone still thinks Captain America is dead and gone, and that's why it's so effective.
"I can't believe I was saved by Captain America!"
That part warmed my heart, honestly, especially since Captain America felt like he didn't have a place in this world from the beginning of the movie.

Bo Dallas (AKA Bo Rotundo): Boring as piss. Expect all of his matches to be getting beat up for the whole thing and getting a surprise spear for the win.
Rick Victor: CANADIAN LIFTER! One of the better guys. He's got tons of potential and is finally starting to gain a personality and uniqueness to him. F***ing Canadian Lifters are the s***.
Briley Pierce: Little Ziggler! He does interviewing. He's much better as a solid character, so we'll see. He's got a lot of work to do, but I like him.
Jason Jordan: Generic, green, and bland.
The Ascension (Conor O'Brien & Kenneth Cameron): Good duo. They have an awesome and dark theme and entrance. They get by on gimmick and personality. They are passable in the ring. Like, their personality and entrance make them for real.
Mike Dalton: Fun cruiserweight. Very solid wrestler.
CJ Parker: Terrible, annoying, and unenjoyable.
Byron Saxton: BEST ON COMMENTARY EVER!
Seth Rollins: What do I need to say about Seth Rollins? Incredible on everything but the mic. But... man. He is bad on the mic.
Jiro: He's generic Japanese. Sakamoto is much better.
Leo Kruger: Bad on the mic, but very solid everywhere else. I'd say he is "above average".
Aiden English: I don't know much about him. He doesn't seem particularly good though.
Richie Steamboat: Great in the ring. One of the best in FCW. However, his mic skills could stand to improve. He's got in-ring charisma.
Dante Dash: Only ever seen him once. His swagger is fabulous and his personality is great. He didn't get much offense in, so I have no idea how he is in the ring.
Sofia Cortez: You know that Isabelle chick from Tough Enough? That's her. She's alright for a Diva. Probably progressing much better than a lot of them.
Paige: She's not tremendous. She's a step above most of the "bad" Divas though. She's kind of scrawny and pale though. Not much for total hotness.
Nick Rogers: JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKED! Also, he sucks.
Jake Carter & Corey Graves: Jake Carter is very decent. He's also Vader's son! He's not fat though. Corey Graves is so cool, slimy, and badass. He's also great in the ring and has a badass submission move. Corey Graves is the f***ing man.
Kassius Ohno (AKA Chris Hero): He's honestly not good. He's okay if he's with the right opponent, but his mic skills blow, his gimmick is bad, and he doesn't seem like he's trying too much.
Chris Russo: OH GOD THEY PUT THIS F***ING NERD ON COMMENTARY.
Bray Wyatt: Cool new gimmick for Husky Harris. It's dark and weird. I don't know what to think of it yet.
