Do I agree Trump is winning? No
Do I think Trump is losing? Also no.

Trump could be tried and convicted of 34 counts of first degree murders of little white girls from MAGA districts, and he would not lose a single republican vote.

Biden could get a speeding ticket for going 1 mile over the limit while trying to save the life of pregnant woman and lose 100,000 democrat votes for breaking the law

The left is held to outrageously high standards the right is held to no standard.

With the multiple felony convictions of Donald John Trump many of his supporters are saying that the criminal justice system is corrupt and unfair.

I believe this is something many civil rights groups most notably (but not exclusively) BLM have been saying for years.

So will the GOP now work with groups like BLM and the NAACP to fix the justice system they admit is broken.

No deal.

To those suggesting they could use it to leak dirt on Trump that would sink his re-election exactly what do you think you would leak that hurt his chances.

He is a twice impeached, convicted felon and guilty of several different acts of sexual assault, and lead an over throw of democracy itself just to name a few of the MANY horrible things in the public record.

What do you think you would find and leak as his roommate that would hurt his chances?

I do make an exception for people who don't vote because they can't.

They have every right to complain, and should at the top of lungs until they are given the ability to vote.

Also, people (in the US) act like there is only one election every 4 years. There are usually 2 elections EVERY year. And they all matter.

Even if all you care about is the President, state elections matter. That's where you vote for the people who make the rules for who can be on the ballot for the presidential election.

Or how the state counts the votes for the electoral college. If enough states decide to they want a popular vote election we could get rid of the electoral college all together.

Right now states are voting for the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, if enough states adopt, would end the electoral college.
How does this happen? Enough state legislators have to vote for it.
How does that happen? Enough citizens have to vote for good people in the state legislators.

Voting in small elections could mean every vote counts in 2028 onward big election.

Generally - yes.

The exception would be if the person complaining was alway doing everything in their power to make the world a better place in so many different ways, dedicating their lives fight climate change or homelessness or systemic racism, not just complaining about these things but doing stuff above and beyond, to change them... but they aren't voting... I might say they have a right to complain... maybe.

But 99.999999999999999999% of the time the people who are complaining but aren't voting aren't doing anything at all to make a change in the world.

Voting is the absolute bare minimum a human can do. If you can't do that, no you shouldn't complain

I dont share the belief that George ALWAYS wanted to do the prequels but for XYZ reasons he didnt

i think he (old guy remembering fun Flash Gordon and pulp hero adventures) wanted to present this wacky story as just one of many tales in this larger story. Like the viewer just turned on a random episode of an ongoing TV show like Star Trek.

most of you are too young to realize this, but for us old people it was actually the norm to have to jump into the middle of a tv series if we wanted to get into it

This is semi supported by the fact that Indiana Jones also a pulp fiction style hero is done the same way. Were introduced to Indy and hes already the character and this is just one of many adventures he goes on.

So A new hope was episode 4 to make it feel like it was a part of an ongoing saga already.

But with the level of success of the franchise there was interest in actually going back and filling in the blanks.

Approve is a strong word. Its her life I dont have a say in she lives it.

If she is happy then I would be happy for her.

The only thing in that description that might make me act is short-tempered thats often a gateway to abusive behavior.

If he is verbally or emotionally abusive to her in anyway I will beat the shit out of him. If he is physically abusive I will straight up end his life.

My general view on Prisons as a system: Prisons should keep ALL prisoners safe from attack at all times.

My view on Pickton's attack: I super don't care if he lives or dies. He's a murder, rapist and possible cannibal... he is literally comic book villain level evil. I'm gonna pull Nolan Batman on this one. I think "We shouldn't kill him, but we don't have to save him."

Besides a small handful of exceptions, Im not a fan of turn based RPGs

and I have never liked mortal combat
so I would never buy it.

The problem is things arent bad enough to force a change, and when they get that bad it will be too late.

There are very specific conditions in which something will be done that spark change.

1) the bad event is so negative even the rich and powerful are negatively impacted.

2) the most effective way for the rich to save themselves is to save everyone.

If you like Hamburgers but don't like Turkey Burgers it means you've never had a good Turkey Burger. Which is not surprising because 85% of people make terrible Turkey Burgers, and I'm including and especially restaurants.

Most people cook Turkey Burgers exactly how they cook hamburgers, and that's a big mistake. There is cooking science to making a good turkey burger.

To start in my opinion there is a difference between friendships where there is some level of attraction (or possible attraction) and friendzone.

Friendzone specifically is always toxic.

Either the guy has no interest in actual friendship and is just hoping that by being her friend she will he can weasel it into a relationship.

Or as this topic suggests, the girl has no interest in a friendship but just wants a human emotional support animal to follow her around like a puppy.

You are not friends with someone if you have a problem with them entering into a happy healthy relationship.
