He's an overweight atheist highschool drop out who has never had a job. He spends all day playing video games, watching TV, smoking weed, eating junk food, reviewing nude mods and having needlessly aggressive debates online over which animes and video games are better than others. He's written an entire 59,000 word thesis on why Final Fantasy Tactics is actually the best Final Fantasy ever made.

Meanwhile your daughter works all day and pays the rent/bills etc. Does all the taxes, shopping, insurance etc adult stuff.

You find him arrogant, short-tempered, spoiled and socially awkward while she claims she loves him and he makes her happy.

He sounds awful. I wouldn't approve, but it's not like I can stop her. I'd let my concerns be known, but she'll ultimately have to make her choice and live with the consequences.

If that's the way she wants to live then so be it. As long as they don't ask me for money whatever, because I wouldn't give a cent to a marriage where one person is capable of contributing and refuses.

Approve is a strong word. Its her life I dont have a say in she lives it.

If she is happy then I would be happy for her.

The only thing in that description that might make me act is short-tempered thats often a gateway to abusive behavior.

If he is verbally or emotionally abusive to her in anyway I will beat the shit out of him. If he is physically abusive I will straight up end his life.

other than that, her life, her choice

Doesn't matter if i approve or not. My daughter, as an adult, gets to make her own choices. I'd let her know I don't think she should be dating him, and I'd explain why, but it'd ultimately be up to her.
