Zero. Same as trying to convert blue to the GOP. Politics is almost like religion but with a bigger gap between caring.

Example: Church on Christmas and Easter only (twice a year). Politics on election years (maybe 6 months every 4 years).

You know an advisor told him about this and he ran with it. Trump and Biden to me were puppets.

They were probably brainstorming on how to get immigrants out and at the bottom of the list was birthright. Something that didn't cost money, has little effect on actual immigration, BUT would show they actually did something but talk. Always bad when you try to amend historic amendments just to puff your chest out.

I lean red (am not white) but consider this petty and pathetic.

Fighting fire with fire just makes bigger fires unless you use the fire to burn the brush a mile away so that the original fire cannot burn beyond the point you allowed it to...unless there's Santa Ana winds.

All the IT guys I know run with Android. I had an i6 then turned to Android and haven't looked back.

Apple is a status symbol for sure. I just didn't want any part of the eco system and it's restrictive nature. Plus those batteries only last a year or so.

But at the end of the day...they all do the same thing.

The good: she was kind of young and energetic. She was symbolic of what the US "wanted": an empowered woman of color.

The bad: she didn't distance herself from Biden who the US grew tired of. She couldn't speak outside of prep. The debate...felt more like a parent showing dissatisfaction but nothing concrete to back that emotion up.

The ugly: the campaign focus was trashing Trump. Nothing else. Hypocrisy as is all politics. The GOP doesn't have a plan. The Dems didn't either. We care about immigrants but they were all about continuing the wall. We don't want war but we're money hatting 2 of them. Tariffs aren't the solution but we already planned to tariff China around 50% since the summer. The bottom line, she was there with all of Biden's missteps.

Anyone who grew up from around 2000 on up will have a challenge. Social media is poison. Telling you how to think, what to watch, who to follow, etc. They really need to touch the grass. I used to think it was smartphones as they actually make people stupid i.e. reliant (directions, google, etc) but they just enable other things.

But these kids have become too socially aware. Being forced to care about shit they normally wouldn't have. Like a social paralysis of sorts. Good luck our future leaders.

Yes. I was 30 years younger with my life ahead of me. Not that this life is bad, it's the opposite actually, but not having responsibility outside of graduating highschool and college is great.

What i really miss though:
The music - Hair band ballads, alt rock (more smashing pumpkins and some brit bands, less Nirvana and grunge), hip hop, and the r&b ballads. All we have now is pop and one hit wonder club music.

Less tech - people were actually outside to play. Not force walking to get steps in. You didn't have a tracking device on you at all times too. Having a phone for emergency is great. As a distraction from life...not so much. Social media was the star or inquirer tabloids.

The movies - they would release anything and if it made 40-50mil it was good enough for a sequel. The comedies were funny and people didn't get offended...much. Now if one person has a problem, everyone pretends it's a problem for everyone.

I'm just going to repeat what I said when this all started: Israel was just looking for a reason and they gave it to them. The US wants that terrorist group gone. Everything else is collateral damage.

I brought the apparent genocide up to a Syrian friend of mine a month ago. He didn't hold back. Told me, "well...I lost so many family members due to Palestine so they deserve it". I had no rebuttal. If you aren't from that area, all we spew is opinions on right and wrong.

So true. Dooming and glooming like it's the end of the world because Trump has the powers of Satan and can do anything. Like how Biden had the same powers and did...absolutely nothing?

Realistically, some things will change but it won't be life changing events. Perfect example: Ukraine and Gaza. Politics will always get in the way of what Trump thinks he wants to do. Dude is doing a 180 because he can't just snap his fingers like Thanos. President Powers are overrated. Example: Biden and everyone before him.

Will we have a Democrat in 4 years. Maybe if they put someone up with some actual conviction to help the majority of people. Not just the special cases to show how inclusive they are. The majority (blues and reds) doesn't care about that. It's the truth.

Goodness CE. Every chance you get to bash the GOP. The US government wants the threat eliminated. They are using Israeli soldiers to do the dirty work. Dems kept it going (yes Joe) then he 180's to say he brokered a cease fire to end his term on a good note.

GOP says if truce ends, full backing to finish the job. Nothing different than what Joe and his team have been doing for over a year. But...it's Trump's fault again?

There's only one person who can stop the fighting. It's Ben and that dude is murder incarnate. The US is only enabling him. Maybe...if the people would surrender the soldiers hiding in plain site...it would be easier.

At least this outs the truth. Blue and Red, different paths but same destination.

Another $30 increase and the industry is dead. GameStop may see a resurgence in the 2nd hand market.

Here's a protip for devs...stop making games with blockbuster movie budgets. You're already saving tons going digital. The industry is growing but via mobile and f2p. Not AAA console games. Look at stellar blade. Sold a ton and didn't cost AAA bucks but looks the part.

The West needs a crash course on LEAN manufacturing and apply it to game development.

He wanted to ban it. He was vocal to bring it back. It's business. He even said it could lead to billions.

Did the Dems bring it back? Or was the current government totally trying to tell us all that this was for national security...i.e. they wanted a piece of the pie but not in so many words?

I get the hate for the GOP but I think all government is shady to it's people. The only thing I can say is that I respect the GOP's candor. Outside of campaigning lies, they tell you how they will F you. The Dems F'n you is a slow burn then an epiphany that their goals are exactly the same as the GOP...just covered in glitter.

Quickly. It's scarier. That slow burn would have any sane person reaching for a weapon before the full turn. That is frustrating when they don't and think "you'll make it" or "we'll get a cure (even though there isn't)" only to endanger everyone else for false hope.

It's blackmail. They create this high traffic revenue generating app and for the sake of the US's "national security" they have to sell it to an American company? So that our government has another app to keep an eye on us?

Seriously? Just let the app die. I'm sure some American dev will release a copy soon if they haven't already. That way we can go back to suing our own large tech companies, fine them, and force them to break up.
