My parents were not born in America.

They came as refugees in '81 after surviving the Cambodian genocide and staying at a refugee camp in the Philippines for a year.

I was born in '82 in Massachusetts. My father naturalized in 2001 and mother in 2003. Yeah it takes forever!

Today I had someone ask for my birth certificate, doesn't believe I'm American, says I'm unamerican and to get the fuck out of his country because I said Trump was a convicted rapist.

Yeah fuck Trump and fuck nazis

That reminds me of all those Cuban-Americans that live in Florida. They tend to vote Republican, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle Leopard's eating their faces.

That's only because Trump has been ruled effectively immune from personal legal responsibility for its actions in office. No court in the land will toss him in jail for refusing to follow the terms of the Constitution.
Tossing the President in jail for refusing to follow the Constitution is literally never how it's happened.

You know an advisor told him about this and he ran with it. Trump and Biden to me were puppets.

They were probably brainstorming on how to get immigrants out and at the bottom of the list was birthright. Something that didn't cost money, has little effect on actual immigration, BUT would show they actually did something but talk. Always bad when you try to amend historic amendments just to puff your chest out.

I lean red (am not white) but consider this petty and pathetic.

How are you defining it? I don't think most people believe it will be repealed, just that the SC will interpret it in such a way that his EO stands. The SC is great at making things say things they don't or just making up new things entirely. It's been happening for a while.

Fair question, I mean I will bet that the attempts at altering the current interpretation will fail.

He is an idiot, but he doesn't "win" if there is nation-wide violence, riots, and an impending revolution. That doesn't serve him, so I don't think he will push things to that limit. He is going to throw as much shit at the wall as the can to see what sticks without causing too much rocking of the boat to risk violent rebellion.

Orwell described it best. The threat of violent rebellion will be a thing of the past, once future generations are deprived of any knowledge of anything other than how to be a Republican.

It crazy how quickly me and him talking about the tariffs and how it's only going to make prices higher, goes to me being unamerican, not a citizen, I need to prove it, and gtfo out of the country.

These people are so unhinged.
