I think I was the only one here who even watched Spy Classroom, for example, and I loved that too.
I mean, I didn't love it, but I did have enough fun watching to finish it.

Yeah, I'm honestly not a fan of the move. Dude's washed.

I guess it's nice that his final play as a Cowboy won't be that play at the end of the Niners playoff game anymore.
It would be a lot better if we had another decent RB for him to be the clear #2 to.

But I am not holding NE having a putrid O-Line, QBs and WRs against him when I say he might still have enough in the tank to be usable for a year.

(And, to be double clear, I am not saying that the Cowboys have a good RB room, even with Zeke. I am, however, saying he does improve it)
I am a fan of Zeke back to Dallas.

He's kinda washed, but he was still plenty solid for the dumpster fire that was New England last year, he should hopefully not be the main guy (even if Dowdle and Vaughn aren't actually good), his blocking is still top notch (why do you think we had him play Center lmao) and dammit, I just like the guy

That said, it would be great it the site was all static HTML pages. The whole JS-rendered SPA thing is not in fashion anymore and people realized what a mistake it was.

You want corruption to exist but very quarantined. Even if it's all gone you can spread it from a seed or any ebonstone you have lying around. I'd usually corrupt an island and make an area underground that's isolated to be able to farm mobs
Yeah, pretty much. It does help that corruption creep is basically nonexistent pre-hardmode, which means you can pretty easily quarantine what exists. Then you just gotta live with whatever crops up at the start of hardmode.

I played a Master Mode world back in December and it was very good times, but it did burn me out a bit. I've watched people play Calamity though, and it's just way too much going on for me to want to care or try it myself.
So, when I was in high school way back when, the library actually had the first couple volumes of the manga for Pilot Candidate

It is so bad that I completely forgot about it until seeing the name again here. But it is not memorably bad, or "so bad it's good". It's just awful.
Meanwhile, Train to the End of the World is just The Twilight Zone with a steady cast and I'm kinda digging it.
That's why fuck fandom, yeah

This is also the top topic on the nintendo switch board.

Again, fandoms goal here wasn't to make this a safe place. It was to make sure bigots couldn't properly have their worldview questioned.

Its a warped view of the term inclusivity.
Tbh you could take these threads as evidence that yes, fandom needs to do something. But their continued existence is evidence that all Fandom is interested in is a performative statement

I would have to include manga in a Top 10 because I read things way more than I watch. First two that immediately come to mind are Re: Zero and Dungeon Meshi, and after that it gets a lot fuzzier.
I would have to do so much fucking research for a time-bound manga list lmao
  1. Ace of the Diamond (Started in late 2013, admittedly, but the vast majority of it was 2014+)
  2. Konosuba
  3. Kaguya-sama
  4. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Specifically Part 4)
  5. Frieren
  6. Hinamatsuri
  7. No Game No Life
  8. Haikyuu
  9. Bocchi the Rock
  10. Ping Pong
The HM shortlist (Or candidates to replace Ace if you really don't want to count it), in no real order, is Mob Psycho 100, Pandora in the Crimson Shell, Zombieland Saga, and Oshi no Ko

Frieren may be hella recency bias but I'm pretty sure that it'd be at least top 10 even if I am overrating it because of that.

Kenshin and Spice and Wolf could very easily both be on this list when their adaptation remakes conclude, too.
Oh, that was the topic I looked at but I completely missed the image link in the first post

Lol me

Doesn't change much though.

They may be moving to the disgustingly overpriced DLC campaign model instead, looking at Reload.
Even if they're not, the ultimate question to answer on this is "Is this game going to be good enough, at base, that I wouldn't mind buying it twice (Multiple years apart, and the second having moderately to significantly enhanced content)?"

And, honestly, the track record is good enough that it might be yes. P5 certainly was. P4 too. SMTV was borderline IMO but if the bar for this is "Better than SMTV", then I think this has a good chance of comfortably clearing it
Only question is, get this day 1 or wait for the inevitable Atlus Remake?

i mean i can't blame him for starting to collapse if he's actually engaging with people because it's an untenable position. even by its own framework, definitions purposefully don't exist and explanations, unfortunately, keep the parts people are talking about vague and with unknown standards. you can't actually argue for the rule when the rule doesn't actually exist in any clear way and is admitted to having no reasonable definition that can apply, you can only shove it through. argument and conversation demand reason, the new rule explicitly lacks it.
tbh I almost sympathize with him as a person on this whole mess and having to be the sacrificial damage control lamb.

But he's getting paid for it so nah not actually.

worse than that Reg, CE is at the forefront of this issue because that's where a lot of are the mods come and where a lot of things get modded, partially because it's where a lot of people went to after the politics boards were killed.
Yeah, let me rephrase this a bit.

I think that if the board had literally any other name, it wouldn't be hit with the intersection of "This is where the politics goes" and "we're quarantining it". And I also get the feeling that, without the politics aspect, it probably wouldn't get the quarantine either. Though maybe I am wrong about that last part.
I have become convinced that the only reason CE is at the forefront of this issue is its name, not its community
While I can't commit to anything at this moment beyond hoping moderation and the community becomes more positive overall. Ideally creating a more positive environment allows Fandom to invest more resources into it. Bringing back bounties for a few grand is cool, hypothetically speaking $300,000 is a lot cooler. Roughly 1,000 people online each day is a number but what if that was 10,000 with proper cross-linking, clean up, and things to do?

The main problem with TX roads, especially in DFW, is that they're permanently under construction and the drivers suck (unregistered cars with fake paper plates are endemic here, sadly). And also that they're necessary to get anywhere because the public transit sucks by design.

The roads themselves are fine and of good quality relative to elsewhere though.
I'm gonna be honest, it takes a fair bit for me to actively disregard and not even consider a sports series that hits my radar. Which is why I watched ep 1 of Highspeed Etoile (But won't be watching ep 2)

What it actually is, at least so far, is a terrible comedy. The amnesia guy has seemingly reverted to the mindset of a three-year old and spouts nothing but the most juvenile jokes. I lost count of how many jokes he made about nipples and none of them were funny. His friend, a superstar pitcher, also has the personality of a piece of cardboard.
This, however, is enough. Thanks for sparing me this shit Roba.

lastly i went and watched the new bartender and uh.... so comments i've generally been seeing are saying this is a BETTER anime than the original? like seriously i even went over the first episode of the original straight after (for the benefit of my flatmate) and i cannot believe anyone would say this, let alone for it to be the consensus (it has better ratings too...)
I haven't seen the original Bartender, but I thought that the first episode of the new one was pretty good. It's probably not going to blow anybody's minds or be talked about as best of the season/year, but unless the first episode is the best by a lot I strongly doubt I'll regret watching it.

Or is this a commentary that the original is fantastic, rather than the new one being bad?

lostorage (S3 and S4) were above average, but nowhere near the first series, not worth going and watching unless you really want more./
DivaALive (S5) was fucking trash and has permanently soured me on something I loved.
Against my better judgement, I watched Ep 1 of Highspeed Etoile

The most entertaining aspect was seeing a Wixoss logo on the guy's helmet

That's a series that I both miss and would not check out a new season of if one were made.

Without having seen the last episode yet (but have been watching it every week), I agree. The show has oozed potential greatness from start to finish, and I stuck along every week in hopes that it would finally capitalize, and... It just never did.

I do think the two main characters are quite likeable though.

The standalone app is just a Chromium applet (Electron)

I can't imagine it being a difficult feature to implement
Electron has more ways to hook into the underlying OS and fewer security features than the actual browser does, because it is running "trusted" (in theory) code, as opposed to a browser which can go to a web page that can be running theoretically anything in JS. Discord could implement it if browsers allowed them to, but also a global hotkey listener, if not handled properly, is functionally equivalent to a full-on keylogger.

Even if you don't think Discord is/would use it that way, it's not a stretch to say that other malicious sites (or even malicious ads on otherwise benign sites) could/would.

I still don't understand why people actually willingly download a program when it was designed to be run in browser.
The ability to have a global push-to-talk hotkey in voice conversations (Meaning, without needing to click back into the discord window) is actually quite important to me, and last I checked the browser version didn't support that. Admittedly, if not for that, I'm not sure I'd use the standalone version.

Rocket League (> Geoguesser, since it was brought up) > Smash > Other fighters >= RTS >>> League of Legends > Other Mobas >= Shooters

I think this is the "I don't know these games" list, so basically just "ease of understanding without knowledge" crossed with innate hype. League beats other Mobas for having solid visual clarity even if you don't know the game. I tried getting into watching Dota a few times and the lack of knowledge was not the reason I couldn't follow the game. They're all very low tier for this though. Shooters, I also had a lot of trouble trying to follow and understand, though that could just be the specific ones I tries (OW,CSGO) specifically being specifically awful zero-knowledge watches

Smash beats other fighters for sheer breadth of iconic characters.

My experience is that pretty much anybody who goes out of their way to call themselves a "leftist" or "liberal" in conversation, especially unprompted, are at best bad faith arguing.

Coincidentally, I pretty much always see it as something like "I'm a liberal/leftist, but..."
