Yeah Brady was fine, but he wasn't taking the game by the scruff of the neck and winning it for his team like Mahomes does almost every time. Usually his defenses were elite and stepping up to help him.

Not against the Panthers!

Mecole Hardman has more Super Bowl rings than Tyreek Hill

His game-winning TD was his only touchdown of the entire season
http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/080/145/638.png
Apparently, Hardman in his time with the Chiefs this season had 2 drops, 3 fumbles (2 lost including a muffed punt and a fumble out of the endzone against the Bills), 2 INTs when targeted, 3 carries for -2 yards, and 10 targets for just 46 yards (outside of Week 18 where the backups played against the Chargers).

He then had the 3rd most receiving yards in the Super Bowl along with the game-winner.

Who's on the Mount Rushmore of random Super Bowl receiver performances?

amplified even more by his 'performance' this year

I'm guessing we aren't counting scrub receivers that were elite kick returners like Devin Hester and Jacoby Jones?

It happens often enough that I'd have to see a full list to narrow it down. Like I completely forgot Chirs Matthews existed.

Brandon Stokley had the most receiving yardage and the 1st TD (38 of his 52 yards came on that TD) of the Ravens first Super Bowl. He was one of their top receiving threats (probably only behind Ismail and Shannon Sharpe iirc) though, but it was on a run-first, low-scoring offense.

Jordy Nelson was a no-name receiver who had just 2 receiving TDs in each of his first 3 regular seasons and only had a career year with just 500-something receiving yards the year he went for 140 and a TD in their SB win.

Ricky Proehl had 71 and a TD for the Panthers against the Patriots (though he was just the 5th-leading receiver in that game).

Those are the first guys that came to mind for me, anyway.
hell, go back to Super Bowl 1 with a hungover Max McGee having 7 catches for 138 yards and 2 TDs after having 4 catches in the regular season
azuarc won the Guru. I did not.
Yeah, I thought about him, too. Depends on the criteria. He'd been a leading receiver for the Packers earlier in his career and had won NFL Championships before that, but it was an out-of-nowhere performance in his second-to-last season.

Chris Jones appears to have just dropped that they're apparently working on a 2-year contract in his victory speech at the parade.

Dunno why else he would specify "I'll be here next year and the year after"

Bizarre for the 49ers to fire their Defensive coordinator who basically dominated the Chiefs for 4 quarters.

And not Shanahan who didn't have his team prepared for super bowl overtime and just in general is a massive fucking loser of a coach and person.

Wish Carolina would've kept Wilks. Some people try to use his 3-13 year in Arizona as an excuse not to hire him full time, while ignoring the fact that the starting QB on that team was Josh Rosen.

Rumors are speculating that San Francisco might hire Staley to replace Wilks. The Niners don't even get past the divisional round with him as DC

Having the #3 pick makes it fun to look at mock drafts and think about what the Pats will do.

My big thing is if you get a QB, you have him backup for a year if possible. I feel like I'm seeing that talking point come up a bit and I hope teams really buy into it.

Bears - Caleb Williams.
Washington - Maye though I'm seeing a little buzz about Daniels here.
NE - MHJ. Least likely to get hurt, will still get 1000 yards from Bailey Zappe. If they pick Daniels then they better sign Tyrod Taylor to start for a year to keep Daniels from getting killed.
Cardinals - if MHJ is gone, then i think they aren;t going QB. Nabors or Odunze go here. Personally I like Nabors.
Chargers - could go o-line but I mean you're gonna have a top WR sitting there. Hard to skip one of them. Odunze in LA would be really sweet.
Giants have Jayden Daniels fall to them and grab him. If not, they address the line. I guess if Daniels goes earlier then one of the WRs might be here.
Titans get Alt

After that I don't know. Lots of people thinking the Pats will trade down. im sleepy

Do the Bears trade out, or do they trade Fields? I feel like Fields is a better QB than Williams will be.

Nah, Fields is a pretty flawed passer and that almost never changes for a QB unless you're Josh Allen.

Trade him and take Williams.

I'd be pretty surprised at this point if the Bears trade the pick. I was going back and forth for awhile but I'm pretty much on team draft a QB. The real question is how much Fields nets us in a trade. I've seen some hypothetical trades out there and frankly some of them are pretty bad. Anything less than what the Jets got for Darnold is a failure imo.

I also really want Nabers or Odunze at 9 though I'm not sure if either fall that far. Been talking myself into Bowers a bit as well but still might prefer a pass rusher or a trade back. Really think free agency will determine a lot in what we do at 9.
plz top 3 teams take a QB I need MHJ in AZ

Getting MHJ and Bowers would be a really fun first round for Chicago.

It's a deep draft so if they trade down, that would make sense. There's a lot of firepower in the first two rounds so they really should come out of the draft with their answer at QB as well as someone who can get separation.

I am not sure what Fields trades make sense. I see either way too little or way too much. At the same time he's in an awkward position with his contract, and has really proven he's a fifth year option/extension guy and teams only have a year to figure it out. I think the market for him is small. The teams that would benefit from having Fields already have QBs, like Cleveland or NYJ.

(as a Pats fans I see a lot of "Fields + pick 9 for the Pats pick 3" and it's like... wut)

They're already talking about expanding the CFP to 14 teams and we haven't even had the first year of 12 teams?

Just go to 64 teams now because you clearly don't care that you're just making these college kids play more and more games.

Well, FCS has had a 24 team playoff for years now, and they start right after the end of the regular season. So they never cared for the kids who don't make money, so no reason to pretend that they care about the kids who do make money.

Good news is you wouldn't have to watch him for more than maybe a couple games. Bad news is, it's because he'd tear his acl quickly like every Ravens RB
