Do you expect to pick up Korra soon?Ummm, probably not. For one, there's just so much other stuff to watch nowadays and I'm not sure I want to commit to it right after this. I've also heard mixed things, not just about that show but about how it depicts A:tLA characters later in their lives.
They did some comic book epilogue storyline. But I have never read it. I think it involves looking for Zuko and Azula's mom
Aang is 12 while Katara is 15, not really that weird
12 and 15 is definitely weird but moreover Aang is pre-pubescent. He looks like a little kid. Katara should not be into him lol. It's not that weird. Don't try to make it weird, bro.
My daughter when we watched recently when Aang and Katara kissed.
"Am I too young to be seeing this?!"
She's silly like that.
and there's SKYSCRAPERS?

Actually, I just don't hear good things about Korra. Besides the vaguest "1/3/4 are good 2 sucks" or something like that. But I've never seen people talk about liking the themes or plot or even describing them, just problems they have with characters or world building.
I'm not ruling it out but I definitely want a break before more avatar.
sokka is DEAD
This show might immediately be settling my lowkey chief complaint of a lot of fantasy media, that being not challenging the underlying power structures that create the world's conflicts such as the monarchies and aristocracy.Keep watching.

My daughter when we watched recently when Aang and Katara kissed.Lol that's cute. My son is 8 and still says "ewww" whenever he sees kissing. Kids

Toph is fun but it is funny that she feels like an order of magnitude more powerful than the rest of the cast and doesn't really need to earn it on screen. Casually invents metalbending too.
That's still something I have trouble grasping. Like, no one else ever in history has ever metalbended before? Toph is still great tho
But that Guru Aang visits at the end of season 2 vaguely implies that other people did metal bending as well at some point, or at least that the concept was something that'd been looked into before.
