While in theory, the parents should name her whatever they want, considering the way society is now, no, it's not okay. If you don't name your child something "reasonable", you can open them up to possible bullying or discrimination.

I like the Danish on this one... Basically, if the name isn't from a pre-approved list it's banned. Too many kids have edge lord parents that end up selfishly fucking them over. I'm glad somebody is compassionate.

You forget that names were originally very loose and a lot of these things are holdovers from that time. Tradition came much later.

I like the Danish on this one... Basically, if the name isn't from a pre-approved list it's banned. Too many kids have edge lord parents that end up selfishly fucking them over. I'm glad somebody is compassionate.
I hate stupid names as much as the next guy, but that's fucking banana's stupid.
if someone is willing to name their kid Yourhighness Morgan (college player look it up), then whats to stop them getting something legit bananas stupid like Eraserhead Jones? I lean with the Danish/EU way a little.
