I walked into Walmart and grabbed a Switch on day 1 in the early afternoon. I think they had like 6-7 left.
Now, the Switch has since exploded in popularity and there may be more demand for 2, plus scalping bots have gotten significantly more aggressive since 2017 and may present some challenges, but it's not like there's no precedent for being able to get Nintendo systems at launch. The Wii's the only one I've ever had serious trouble with.
