Trails in the Sky is great. Kloe is the best.

Generally when a screen cap like this comes up the chuds will say this was inserted by woke localizers and the original Japanese doesn't say anything like this

I loved the remake and can't wait for part 2

I havent played the remake yet but the originals (particularly sky 2) are some of my favourite games.
but I dont wanna burn myself out on it before Trails Beyond the Horizon drops

ironically the remake's localization sticks closer to the original than the old localization which punched up dialogue a lot (in a good way)

Just go a game at a time. Going all-in at once is going to burn you out. And Trails in the Sky is a good place to start (it would have to be since it's the first Trails game).

She does this in both games and both times a new glossary term gets added to your dictionary for LGBT, where Uchikoshi breaks the fourth wall just to say that he loves his LGBT fans.

This, it really looks like an interesting series but that time investment, man

If you don't think it's worth the time there's no need to get into it; however the first two games tell a complete story with very little left to explore. That's kind of how the games are structured as the whole. Each saga tells its own story and leaves you at a place where you could safely be satisfied if you dropped the series there.

And because of that, the games are very much open to just taking it in small batches. If you're curious, give Sky 1 and 2 a chance. If you liked that, maybe give 3rd a chance too (I dunno I keep stalling on 3rd myself). If you want to continue there's the two crossbell games. It doesn't start getting daunting imo until the four coldsteel games, but by then you'd definitely know if you want to continue or not, or just take a break and tackle them whenever the batteries are recharged.

It's like watching a TV show with 10 seasons. You're obviously not binging the show all at once. You binge each season one weekend at a time.

I'd love to get into Trails if they'd just port the originals to modern hardware. No interest in this remake series.

The whole series is on Steam and works more or less natively. (Sky 3rd being the only one that's kind of iffy in my experience)

Most PC games have controller support now, if that's your barrier.

I mean, There were already gooners Raging that the Remake was woke because it wouldn't let them upskirt look at children's panties

Also, The other big woke line they hate from Daybreak also actually is a fairly proper translation
