To say they aren't friends of Russia is an understatement .

Ukraine is like that too. But they don't have 30 years of American help with their military like Poland thanks to NATO.

Give it two to five years and I would bet money this will be the state of the world.

Russia vs Europe
China vs various East Asia and Pacific nations (after having defeated Taiwan)
America vs Mexico and Canada, potentially also vs Blue States
Israel vs large swathes of the Middle East

There's your world war. The precursors for all of these conflicts are either already happening or are having their foundations laid right at this very moment.

The moment the USA elected Trump who is removing the US from its position as the worlds primary super power a hot war involving Russia vs Europe became inevitable (unless they end up defeated in Ukraine, but that possibility was also almost removed from play with Trumps election as well), and the chances of China making a big grab in its neck of the woods also became very real. There's a power vacuum and those are always filled.

There are other factors that increase the odds of a world war as well. The Western powers are headed towards an economic crash and the new Axis will take advantage.

I heard a suggestion that a no-fly zone should be established within Ukraine, ensuring that any Russian drone that comes within 50 kms of Poland's border is intercepted by Polish jets.

Poland has called on NATO to invoke Article 4. Which is where the alliance will convene a meeting and probably send Russia a strongly worded letter.

Russia will continue to do this until it's proven that it's not in their interest to do this. The West needs to step up and formulate some sort of military answer.

I had no idea that's supposed to be a slur

It'a derogatory term in North America, then again some words we use in the Rest of The World as slang for things and I'm not talking about nationality or race based terms but general stuff such as names of food items, North Americans find them offensive. Different words have different meanings, plus terms change over time.

One such example was used in medical textbooks and even street names then people got offended by it as the years went by.

I wonder, do we think there'll ever be a generation in the future that isn't offended by certain non nationality/race terms?
