I'm so happy. I've been saving my gold tickets and along with those, my saved gems and gacha tickets and luck I'm hoping to max her out. I have to. She looks so cute. I love her little side tail for her hair. I'm glad her hair is still short and it's not longer. Anis is for short hair only.

I kid, I kid. Mei Lin is a really good ST DPS, and Mika is a great support, so I would recommend those two; third is up to you. Dont be afraid to extend fights to heal when you see that the enemy isnt going to attack. You might want to do a level 10 Chaos just to get some gear and epiphany cards.

Ive found that the bear dude partner is really helpful (I think his name was Douglas?) despite being a 3 star. An AoE for only 2 ego points is really helpful, especially since Mei Lin is purely single target. Plus, as a 3 star, you should easily be able to max out his dupes.

And of course, make sure that your guys are as strong as they can be. Which means leveling their potential, their partners, and ego. Since you should probably have an extra Mika or two from pulls.

MH Arknights collab makes me a bit jealous but I also got my fill when I played Puzzle and Dragons, which had pretty faithful references to the monsters

The first Arknights MH collab was faithful too. While the only proper monster we got was Rathalos as the boss of the event, we had a bunch of items from MH to use in levels like barrel bombs, flash bombs(You can even flash Rathalos out of his flying phase), or the bug thingies from Rise. Rathalos's entire moveset is also all from the games, you can even cut his tail and get a special drop from it.

I was mostly trying the chaos with Mika, Mei Lin, and Miribell, but Mikas heals just dont seem to do enough and her sanity breaks multiple times in the run. Partners are Yvonne, Douglas (both max dupes), and Rachel (with an extra dupe) all at lv 20 as well.

Gear and epiphanies dont carry over between chaos runs, do they? Save data selection only shows up for the other kinds of fights.

I heard the upcoming MH collab for you guys would be more centered around Rise, which had Japanese folklore themes. It probably fits the aesthetics of Arknights more. Magnamalo is a shoo-in but Malzeno, one of my favorite fights of like any video games ever, should also be pretty cool, considering Arknights characters also have a lot of vampiric motifs.

So, I don't typically play gachas but I did like Umamusune. I decided to reroll my from my launch account, just because--was kinda in bad shape anyway lol, and was fully F2P.

And holy shit, think I blew all my all luck for Gachas ever. Got across three uma pulls, in order: Summer Special Week and Summer Maruzensky, next pull got Sumboli Rudolf, Narita Brian, and Seiun Sky, third I got Narita Taishin and Oguri Cap...

And then, although no ridiculous cards, got a better set of support cards than I did with the rest on the pulls. Maxed SR Sweep Toshob and Eishin Flash, at least. Got 2 Fine Motions and Super Creek on the guaranteed SSR tickets.

I was kinda hyped and saw this topic and had to, I guess. First time I really got excited over gacha pull luck lol.

You might need to pass the promotion battle so you can get them to level 30. The game is pretty difficult, so sometimes you just gotta be over leveled lol. Also the partners that heal you after every fight help a lot, like furry dude here

One of the incredibly based things this game seems to let you do is set each character's language individually. It's actually super cool, but it's something that only really works because the story isn't voiced like at all.

I think I might be the only one here still playing Umamusume, lol. Well besides you now. That's some pretty excellent luck and puts you in a great position to run Front Runners. Good luck making front runner parents though. Getting Groundwork to stick to a parent is hell, but besides that and maybe some Kitasan you're pretty much all set until V Bourb.

The English dub also tries to use voice actors from the regions the characters are based on as much as they can, for example we had an event this year set in the Spain-based country, so they got voice actors from Spain for the new units, and they'll speak a little Spanish in some of their lines.

There's a lot this game seems to do right but the handling for the language / dubs is probably top 5 for me. Decided to watch a tsunul deep dive on some community icebergs as well to catch up on community lore I've missed out on over the years, and a recurring element seems to be that the devs are pretty cool in general. Anyway, I'm a single dualchip away from promoting Exusiai to E2. Should I have spread my resources a bit more evenly? Probably. Once that's done I want to focus some energy on clearing up the EX stages of the Event (currently stuck on MT-EX-5 because the recommended strat is max level Logos to auto-kill the birds, and I don't have one of those available for borrow)

I figure when the event is over I'll finish Chapter 4 and then probably start working through the Seaborn storyline to get Gladiia.

Apple Pie's module is decent but can be a heavy investment if starting out and Gladiia might be more beneficial overall.

Yeah, Exusiai's module is good but not that important. The level 1 module boosts her sp regen a little bit while she's at 80% health or higher, while the other levels improve a bit the chance of her talent 1 triggering and the damage it does. I'd prioritize masteries.

Today is the last day of the Exu/Lemuen banner. Funnily enough I still don't have Gracebearer.

Thanks, got MT-EX-5 down. Even managed to pull off the Challenge though I had to adapt my strategy around trying to nuke the beasts with Exusiai instead of shoving it into a hole. (I don't have tanks tanky enough to use Push strats on that stage atm). The strategy was: Careful skill timing and a handful of sacrifices. I started with Healer plus Defender on the left side near the blue box. Then, because my tanks aren't tanky enough to survive the statue, I had to build Exusiai and use S2 to give herself and the defender a shield. That shield lasts long enough to deploy Logos, whose late, meaning that Exusiai needs to remain on skill until she can kill the first wave of birds. Then I can deploy a second healer. But my tanks can't survive the sankta beasts without Exusiai bursting them down. Something she won't have enough ammo to do if she's killing birds... So the solution was to manually deactivate her skill AS SOON as the first set of birds are gone, then throw a bunch of sacrificial pawns in the path of the sankta beast to delay it by just enough time that Exu could S2 as the beast is reaching my defensive line. By now Logos has skill up and can slow as well, and the combo proved effective. Chaotic, a bit tight, but effective. Or if you have Significant Push you can just do that, lol. Though the beasts need 2-3 pushes so you still need good tanks to pull it off.

Anyone else who wants to add me feel free.

I'm mastering her S2 at the moment already, but money has proven to be a major bottleneck right now. The event actually provides all the materials I need so that's not been an issue. Anyways, even if I were to get Gladiia, she'd just be another on the pile of 6 Star operators I can't currently level up because I've sunk too much into E2'ing Exusiai. Even getting my Training Room to Lv3 is currently too expensive since the Lv3 building material costs 7,000 a piece and I need 10 total to upgrade the room. That said the training room is very long-term stocks so getting it upgraded early is probably good for long-term account growth. Especially for how long it takes to actually master the skills once you've got the mats.

I think Exusiai is more or less strong enough for my current needs. She's solved almost all DPS problems and in a pinch I can borrow Logos or Wis to solve other DPS problems. Doesn't always work for the annihilation stages but I'm hitting close to weekly cap there anyways. I think Defenders and Healers are my current weakness, so I might try to push some of them up. Maybe focus on Kal'tsit since she kind of sort of does both.

In other heh Gacha news; Endfield Beta Test II has been announced, with more news to come October 31st.

MT-EX-6 and 7 are all that remains of the Challenge Modes now. I can probably do 6, but 7 is going to require a much stronger tank and / or Healers. Just can't survive the 3 Sankta Beasts with the lower deploy limit.

So I guess grandpa is getting my next stack of resources. Might even E2 him but it feels like a waste when I probably want to E2 Saria first. I could also try to E2 Warfarin and burn the level 80 ticket on her since I've been using Hibiscus as my main Healer still. I guess I'll finalize where to put resources ehen I've seen what the S Stages require.

Another new event and banner dropping soon. The banner is an Orienteering one, where you pick 3 of the 6* units and those become the only 6* units you can get from that banner.

I was considering rolling for Exu potentials but I may go for this banner instead, since I'm missing Ray and Thorns Alter.

I'm not sure how difficult it would be to replicate it with weaker units but I cleared it with this team:

Exu, Lemuen and Miksaparato are needed. Cuora and Lumen can be replaced by other tanks/healers. If you bring Vanguards you should be able to setup two medics to keep Miksaparato alive before the first sniper spawns.

I dropped Exusiai first, and used her skill 2 whenever one of the camera birds showed up. Lemuen can snipe all but one of the buffing guys from that position, and a tank with Exu's barrier should be able to tank that one enough for Lemuen to finish the job. The beasts from the left are elites, so Miksaparato will mark them as wanted targets that Lemuen can attack even if they aren't in her range. Its also important that Miksaparato gets deployed last so he can tank the enemy snipers.

That's pretty close to the strategy I was using, but with a Wis one tile up facing bot to hit both the swordsman to the right and the beasts to the left. I also had a second healer and Saria behind Miksaparato for additional healing. That left right-side undefended but with good skill cycling Wis could blow them up before that was a problem. (usually) E2'ing units is extremely difficult for me right now though. Especially anything 5 or 6 star. I'll see if I can't do a variant of what you've got here with Saria and 2 healers; then borrowing your Lemuen (she might stronger than the no mod level 60 Wis I've been borrowing). But right now my best healer is Hibiscus and an E1 Warfarin. They have trouble keeping up with the damage from the sniper (and especially the beast). Hence why I want to beef up one or both tanks.

Version A: Lemuen - Lemons deals with the enemies on the right better, but Jii-chan dies to the second beast. Didn't last long enough to see what would happen if the more distant mage-type manages to reach Saria (who I'm using in place of your Cuora)

Version B: Wisadel - Wis allows Jii-chan to survive the second beast, but then runs out of ammo. There's no skill timing that retains her enough ammo to deal with the second beast and also have the skill refreshed in time for both the third beast or the ones on the right. This variant does allow a mage type through because Wis is shooting at a beast when the mages strats moving northward, but they kill Saria almost instantly (possibly because Jii-chan failed and she took a sniper round though)

So yeah, I'd essentially need two borrows to get through this. I'll focus on upgrading Miksaparato for now and see if I can't clear MT-EX-7 once he's toughened up a bit more. KyoStinV's guide recommends a different strategy where you use 3 healers and waste a ton of time redeploying Wis, buuut that strategy also relies on having a tank / healer / caster team strong enough to deal with the first beast on their own. None of my stuff is at that level, so for now I'll focus on old man; since regardless of which strategy I end up clearing with it'll require the old man to get it done.

Nope, don't have the deploy slots for that. Exusiai, 2 Tanks, 2 Medics, 1 DPS. That's all 6 slots you can use for the Challenge Mode; this strategy is basically how I beat the normal mode though, lol.. Saria doesn't have the healing needed to get jii-chan to live anyways. Since that's the method I've tried using when using Exusiai and hoping she can kill things right side while leaving the gap undefended.

But yeah, Gramps being E1 is probably the main thing holding him back. The sniper deals more than half his health per hit and the healers aren't keeping up. Hibisucs is maxed so I can't make her any better than she already is, so it's either Warfarin or the old man who needs to be upgraded. I'm voting old man. I'll hard focus him and see if I can't push him to E2 before the event ends.

This worked for me too, have Lemuen facing up, Miksaparato on the right side and Specter on the left. Lemuen can handle the first beast by herself, use Specter S2 for the second one, then the third beast will kill Specter but you can start dropping bodies to stall it until Lemuen does her job. The problem here is that Miksaparato will have to deal with like 3 of the buffing guys and even with Exu's barrier and better medics it might get dicey for him, so... Its the same problem as the other clears lol. DP is also tight but you can replace Fang with Saileach who even at E0 should be a better DP producer.

Well, since I'm not going for Tragodia I'm finally working through my backlog of good 6*s before going back to rock farming.

After sitting in my barracks for months after a surprise recruitment the absolutely adorable Suzuran is E2. Now to begin grinding for her module. Once she's complete I'll have a strong 6* for every class.

Does the fragility she inflicts with her Y module stack with the fragile she inflicts with her skill 3 or just add 2%?

Also took my first foray into IS5 with the Surtr story (needed the mats for Suzuran). First time going all the way through, holy crap some of those stages on floors 4 and 5 are spooky, gave me a bit of a workout despite the fact I was rocking the trio of Walter Exu2 and Laptop.

OH, and another question, should I start upgrading units for their upgraded abilities in the base for long term planning or is the increase not worth the investment?

Lucia is like a huge boost to Rupture Agents so I'd go with her for your Yixuan, unless you wanna start building an Anomaly team with Vivian down the line. Alternatively with Vivian/Astra you could just run Piper and have a team right there I guess.

Oh and with how fast Jufufu is already rerunning I think you'd see Lucia again sooner than Vivian.

Question about the Certificate Shop. The Operators that appear there are from the current Standard Banner and the current Kernal Banner, right? And Tragodia's banner will be a Standard one, right? Can I just exchange 180 Certs for him without doing pulls?

Sadly no, this isn't Limbus. Standard banners are the ones with two 6* units and three 5* ones, the banners with new units are called headhunting banners. Tragodia will eventually be in the cert shop at some point but it will take a long while. The newest 6* unit we've had in there was Ines, who released 2 years ago.

I lost the 50/50 and got Rin instead of Haru, is Rin actually good?

Shes decent. Shes great in terms of damage, but has noticeable flaws:

• No AoE (This can me somewhat mitigated by having Douglas as a partner and/or the weapon that deals damage to all enemies when you kill someone)
• Having to be in stance to do good damage (Having her Epiphany that gives her the stance at the start of every turn is really helpful)
• Shes selfish, since she needs a team that works around her

But on the other hand, I heard getting her affinity to 30 or something unlocks a bikini outfit :3

Those S stages were fun. I was so tempted to bring out Wisadel. Exu and Lemuen still carried me through them though.
