Mass Effect won the poll, so we'll be doing it next. This topic is primarily to discuss what characters should be on The List for people to rank.

I pulled a list from tvtropes, so some of these should probably be eliminated as they aren't major enough to warrant ranking. But I'm not sure exactly which minor characters people want to rank, so I'm listing them here anyway. We can add and remove characters as we go! And move them to the minor list as necessary.

I wanna take part in this, but I also haven't played ME3 since it came out, and I haven't actually played ME2 to the end in over a decade. Maybe I'll just rank the squadmates, since I do at least remember those pretty vividly and have some strong opinions on them.

i was skimming the middle of the first list in the OP and thinking "man there are more randoms than i thought" and then i got to the end of the list which was followed by the heading that says "The Minor List"

Mark Meer is too much of a goober as a Renegade, I like him neutral at worst. Likewise, Jennifer Hale's Paragon shep is a bit off. Went for Renegade there.

This would be fantastic. Always looking for people to look over the list, we forgot some characters in Ace Attorney (though they got ranked anyway)

I've also got a question as to whether Randall Ezno from Mass Effect: Infiltrator can be included on this list.

I'm a pretty big ME homer, but I'll confess that I'm not super-huge on Andromeda. Still, there are a few major characters I would add from that game (a chunk of these are NPC crew members for most of the game, for example. Also a couple very important NPCs, imo).

Oh, and if any one character is added over the others, it's gotta be Avina. I mean, come on. She's Avina!

This. Though some like "Hold the Line" guy will definitely get ranked.

I never did get around to sharing my final ranking after finishing the series. And im happy to boost up some of the humans that get a bad rep

The character is obviously canon. Its just the name Marauder Shields that isnt.

Right, but it's also not really a character. It's just the last enemy that you face there.

It actually falls into the same category as "Leviathan" being rankable, which is, there isn't one Leviathan so much as many of them, and none of them are ever explicitly specified.

I guess, but one of them actually speaks to you, so I'd imagine that's the one we'd be ranking there, even if it's never given a name.

Like I get that people are wanting to rank that one specific enemy instead of an enemy type but it's got nothing to do with the game itself. It's just a meme, not a character.

If that's allowed, then sure. People can like things for whatever reason they want. It's just arguable whether this can actually be considered a character.
