Oh look, Doma chose the first of something for a Rushmore, everyone look shocked. Chose Carmen because I wanted something live action. Pokemon is the biggest, and Castlevania is the critical darling.

HMs are SMB Super Show, Donkey Kong Country, and the obligatory misinterpreting of the rules to select a show based around video games in general like Nick Arcade or Xplay.

I don't know. I think the first two are locks and the other two I am like fine about. I either have not seen or have some larger reservations about putting other shows here. Like, I have not seen TLOU (and don't plan to) or Fallout (and will watch it). I think

The Witcher simply is not good enough or important enough of a show to be on the list and whether or not I'd even technically count it is another question. I've seen Castlevania and I liked it. I'll be honest too, I think Carmen Sandiego gets in because of the theme, not memorable enough without it.

Then that leaves stuff I could put in but I feel like it's not in the spirit of the question. Stuff like Steins;Gate, Clannad, EF (basically a bunch of anime based on visual novels).

TLoU is literally the only video game related thing I've talked about with my bosses at work (who are mostly in their 50s and have never played games at all). Kind of audience who were engrossed in Succession. It really broke out into a different cultural millieu from other video game adaptations.
