Wondering if some people in here are shorter than their dads? Considering offsprings are taller than their most of the time, even by just a little

That would be my case, just slighty taller than my dad. Im 5'9 and hes 5'8

I'm 6', my father's an inch shorter than me, and my brother's a half-inch taller than me, so I guess that tendency in the OP applies to my family at least.

By brother and I are both 63

My dad is 64 (he used to be 65, but is 70 and has likely shrunk). All of his brothers are 60, so my dad is sorta the anomaly of the family.

My mom was 56, but shes probably 55 now.

My husband is 63 and luckily our daughters will be shorter than him. but they are taller than me. 59 and 510

Im 62 and my dad is 61. My dads brother (my uncle) is 63 but seriously these are the only people with height in my whole family on my dad or moms side. I probably should have been short. My dads 3 sisters are all short, grandma was short, grandpa is only like 510.

On my moms side she is short, her two sisters are very short and her brother is only 59 and my grandpa on that side is short like 57.

My whole family was either average or short. My dad and his brother are the only ones who were taller than average. I came out with height and my uncles two daughters are tall. So me and my cousins are it.

All the men on my mom's side are over 6' though.

Oh, I should mention that I have a cousin we call "Little Will" who is 6'6". The name is NOT ironic.

He is called Little Will because his father is called Big Will. And his father is 6'9". XD
