Banjo-Kazooie. seems like its now a console bid war. not a big fan of the glitched bk runs but banjo is still banjo

Turtles in Time. beat em ups arent the most exciting runs but turtles is turtles
Mega Man Maker kaizo showcase. sounds enjoyable
Legend of Zelda; Link's Awakening DX. i hate the graphical stylings of the switch remake so its nice to see the old one
Blue Prince b-quest bingo. hottt new game people seem to like

Tuesday
Ao Oni 2024 (15x speed). didnt know this got a remake or whatever this version is. and hey 15x speed is a lot

Wednesday my dudes
horror block! technically starts tuesday night but whatever
Pokemon Sword/Shield eeveelution trade alt main showcase. not sure what this entails but eeveelutions are cool glaceon is the best

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. worst of the dkc games but still
Community Clash: A Speedrunning Gameshow. not sure what theyre gonna do but hey gdq trying new things i like it. ESA has had some gameshow segments and theyve been mostly enjoyable (or maybe just carried by bigjon)

Final Fantasy 9. not as good as the ESA vivi% run which is currently at 18 and a half hours but still
Super Mario Bros 3 all fortresses. i prefer the 100% run but whatever
Mario Kart World knockout tours. hottt new game people seem to like except for the onlijne which nintendo killed
Deltarune chapter 1-4. havent played so wont be watching but a good choice for a final game

lotsa stuff to check out. ill be missing most of it probably so mods itll be. unless i never get around to it like the agdq vods :/

Super Mario Maker relay race

Always a good time.

There is a Katamari run so I'm obligated to mention it as usual. Harutomo is kinda the only active runner right now so get your fix while you can.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is a good game with a theoretically good speedrun although I've never actually watched one. There's a Playdate game and I have no idea how that works. Relay racing the 3 games in Nintendo Puzzle Collection is a cool idea. Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 is worth checking out just to see the runner's unique 2 controller setup. Live TAS playbacks are always fun (KSSU).

On site again this year. Unfortunately had a major health issue that's restricting my diet for the first half a week but so it goes, at least I didnt have to full-on cancel my trip as initially feared.

it was listed as all 4 when the schedule first came out and i 'think' 3 and 4 are a donation goal or incentive now

I believe it used to be "All Chapters" because chapter 3 and 4 didn't exist when the draft schedule was released. Although, I didn't keep close track. So maybe it was changed to 1-4 before being changed back to 1+2 but with an incentive.

There's a Playdate game and I have no idea how that works.

They have an official app called Mirror that streams to a PC. Theres also what is essentially an official emulator primarily meant as a developer tool, though for a game that uses the crank this would be less than ideal

Okami was a really cool run. Shame Banjo was the N64 version, by the looks of the categories N64 has a LOT more downtime while the runner just collects notes. Not sure why it was offered as an incentive though if the runner had a clear preference and there's such a big difference in time to run!

yeah wouldve rather had the xbox version. it wasnt originally a bid war so dunno why they changed it oh well

ok that beat saber exhibition was really good. having both 1st and 3rd person views was a nice touch

watched the turtles in time run. not bad. it was cowabunga collection version of the arcade version though and the arcade version is just worse than the snes one. that is a thing that i know but keep forgetting. just like i keep forgetting i own that shitty 360 uh remake or whatever. it was also the runners first time on the main stage (although es been ons everal hotfixes) so thats nice

I love gdq but it's gotten to a point where I would be surprised if they let people say nazi

Nice to hear from these runners that the game secretly tilts luck in your favor on certain things the longer you play

I saw a lot of critics complain about getting stuck by RNG and that the game would be better if it did that. Turns out it literally already was and they're probably just bad at the game

They did say Nazi a lot during the Great Circle run just over 24h prior, so it would be a new thing if they weren't allowed to say it.

Ive liked watching the majoras mask run. Never played the game but theres enough from oot that I recognize that it was interesting

H'aanit Single Story seems like a tough category to run with a boss like that at the end.

The Majora's Mask/Plumber for All Seasons/Sonic Adventure 2 set of runs was really good

I didn't get to see Pseudoregalia in there though. I'll just assume it was really good too to match.

Backyard Baseball had no right to be that fun. Great energy from the couch, crowd and runner, and what a comeback Ernie had from that ACL.

Tetris 99 is cool. But, it's a shame the time estimate was underestimated so badly so they can't wait to see who wins each game (or even finish all 3 games!). It turns out that games last like 50% longer when the room is filled with people who know how to play Tetris.

Synchronica was a good watch.

Most of these questions are kind of awkward in practice, this "name any term used in speedrunning lingo" is so broad
