I have 21 cousins.

I have more than 20, but dont really know how many would have to call my dad, havent seen most of them in over a decade, and some Ive never met.

...Do I have to count disowned ones or not?

6, all on my mothers side. My father had 4 siblings, but somehow all were childless.

People in my family stick at one or two kids.

Roughly 10.

I say roughly because there's this group of people who come to all the reunions that I don't actually know my relation to, and it's way too awkward to ask at this point, lol.

I actually have no idea. My dad had 10 siblings and I only know like 3.

No idea. They dont live in my country. So dont really know much about their day to day lives. It goes both ways they havent made an attempt to contact me either.

Somewhat interesting to me are that my mom is one of three kids and my dad one of 5, yet they nor any of their siblings ever had more than 2 kids.

Both sides of my family are baby machines. I have a lot; more than I care to try and count.

I come from Hawaii. So many people there get referred to as "cousin" that I legitimately have no idea how many of them actually are.

This topic reminds me of when Pokemon Sun/Moon came out and people were wondering/confused if the games' regional professor was related to the player character, because he would sometimes refer to them in this way. (No, he's not; that's just a side effect of Alola being the "Hawaii" region and Kukui trying to sound like a cool hipster.)

I have 11, my kids have 8 and it looks like there wont be more. Not a huge difference but my generation is more spread out than my parents so seeing cousins is more annual whereas was closer to monthly while I was growing up.

At least 5 on my dad's side for sure, I have no idea on my mom's side though.

14 and my youngest aunt is just a couple months older than me and still having kids so that number will probably grow.

I only have 2 first cousins. 2 of my 3 aunts/uncles never had kids.

My family is really small in general. Both of my father's parents were only children.

It has also been common going back several generations for people to not marry or have kids.

I grew up next door to my cousins though. We were really close growing up but have little to do with each other as adults.
