Im really enjoying it.
Done with 50cc grand prix, and doing the knockout tour next at 50cc and some free roam also

Only just finished getting it setup, played a bit of free roam on MK WT, a bit annoyed at how accelerate is holding a, will see if I can change that in the settings.

What do you do in free roam? Just drive around aimlessly?

Interested in the Switch 2, just that price tag is a little much. Also, I'm not that convinced that the quality of the games is that much better.

Haven't gotten one yet. I'm in no great rush, so I didn't bother going out yesterday to try my luck and risk wasting a trip. According to the website, there's a Best Buy 40 km away that has some in stock, but that's a bit far for me to gamble on the site being correct, so I'll just check more local stores whenever I'm out over the next few weeks.

Pretty much, although there are missions and junk but not as much as I had expected.

Probably, but I haven't played MK since the Wii U, so I'm still defaulting to R by instinct, plus it's more comfortable. Not going to bitch about it, it's just a preferance.

Free roam isnt a huge amount of stuff to do yeah, but no way youd get it all in one afternoon

Exactly. My Friday grocery runs alternate between going to Costco and another grocery store that's near a Best Buy, and going to a grocery store that's near a Gamestop and a Walmart, so I'll probably just check those three stores whenever I'm in their respective areas (except for today, where I didn't bother checking Best Buy because I knew there wouldn't be any).

Using shoulder buttons to accelerate is a relatively new mechanic, Mario Kart existed long before it became common

Havent got one yet. Was gonna wait for Donkey Kong. But I am super tempted to go out and buy one.
Edit: I was disappointed when they only announced upgrade patches for like ten games. But apparently pretty much every game runs better regardless if they get patched or not.

Haven't set mine up yet I think I'm gonna surprise my kids with it at the end of the school year for doing well in school. Summer surprise It's killing me not to try MK World though it looks fun

Actually could people try certain games and tell me if theres any significant difference from Switch 1? Specifically Im curious about Kirby Star Allies, Pikmin 3 and 4, and Pokmon Snap
