Chrono Trigger given the 7R treatment would be much more perfect. It basically has the gameplay of 7R already, and a lot of the story could be much more fantastically delivered. Combat and multiple endings (which is very trendy right now) could be expanded a lot. The rest could be kept pretty much the same, even closer than 7R.
