Someone like Skyler White has too many "well she's actually right" justifications to qualify, he's referring to an absolutely unsympathetic character archetype. The Skyler White thing was more of a joke, but I don't really bat an eye when people "waifu" a terrible character because I never think it's sincere. Like, if Bender's someone's favorite Futurama character, I don't think they actually think he'd be a fun person to be around. Sometimes the person in a show that's the source of the conflict is fun to watch because they're making the story happen, or you're waiting for their comeuppance.
