Me and my wife had someone go to sleep early at 8 and wake up for the 4 o'clock feeding and then rotate that. Not saying it's possible but we managed to stay decently rested until she went back to work after 2 months and I pulled daddy duty at home. --- Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint. <cite>dummy420 posted [p:984108547] in It's my la... A good ten or so times, Mama asked me to go it on her shift, and I was unhappy about that, but it wasn't the end of the world. It worked terribly with our second. His sleep schedule was any time except 10-230. Literally every night for months, I had to stay up in the living room trying to get him to go to sleep--carrying him up/down the hall, rocking him in his swing, etc etc--from 10-230 every single night, and then I'd go just drop him in the crib at 230 en punto and he's scream and wake Mama up, and she would literally carry him to the same living room and set him in the game swing and he'd be out til dawn. I am super stressed about it. My girl had jaundice issues which they say is common. She has been perfectly fine since the initial treatment. Of course your going to stress over everything but just giving you my recent experience. He had a pneumothorax in both lungs and was on a CPAP overnight to keep the pressure up. It was the scariest thing I've ever been through at the time so I know how you feel, but it will be okay. They said that if they are above 60, they'll drop him from a 6 to a 3 and hopefully he'll be off the IV by tomorrow!
