Im a casual fan who has watched the entire DBZ and original DB but I dont know the power levels so Im not sure. Id need a comparison chart. Im only aware of the over 9,000 because of the popularity of the meme. It wasnt something that jumped out at me at the time. But Im way above that.

I barely manage to defeat Ginyu before getting obliterated by Frieza.

mileage carrying hard for me, but looks like the power levels jump from 100,000 to millions between Ginyu arc to Frieza arc. So I guess I'm taking down Captain Ginyu.

Id be somewhere around 250k (mainly from the cars, Im a peasant) so maybe take out the Ginyu Force by myself?

Real close to 160k... Not too bad, but I'm dying to Freeza's first form.

I just bought a new car so that's a hit to both mileage and net worth. I clear the ginyu force but freiza stomps.

Id be doing it purely from networth as I dont have a car and the mileage and speedometer on my bike are both fucked.

That puts me at about 650k roughly, assuming you want it in USD. In local currency, its more like 16.25 billion.

No idea how far those figures get me in DBZ.

If we're just counting what I have in the bank, I can beat raditz and the saibamen but not Nappa or Vegeta.

I don't own a car, so mileage doesn't apply. If networth just counts money, I'd struggle to take on Raditz. If you count the value of my comic book collection, I could take on most of Freeza's people, other than Captain Ginyu and possibly some of the other members of the Ginyu Force, as I can't find consistent numbers for them.

I didn't add my savings or pension etc into that, but I'm also UK-based, where net worth isn't that important. I am speaking to you now from near Cardiff. Been here for a week, my sister's just given birth and my family's been around just for support. My sister got charged the grand total of 3.50 for her first appt when she was confirmed pregnant. She's had an intensive birth, including blood loss and an induced birth. The docs kept her in hospital for 5 days and put her husband up too. Total cost was 3.50.

Basically, I don't need to add more net worth to cover anything else. My sister is on paid leave for 52 weeks - all at 90% pay. Completely normal.

For me, would I rather have $2m in the bank but have to work every day - or have $1m in the bank and be on track for over 40 days of leave per year?

Put it this way - I've had 8 days off in January 2025 and I haven't even touched my 31 days of leave for 2025. Full pay.

I earn enough to live a comfortable, secure life in the UK. I pay 10 a month for medication (fuck you, arthritis) but if we had to pay for healthcare, my dad would have died 10 years ago.

This is actually why I turned down a job in the US. I was offered about $115,000 - which would have risen to >$200k by now.

However, and I say this honestly, the US lifestyle doesn't appeal to me. I prefer my freedoms - I've just ripped out my grass to add some more driveway space - no HOAs.

When I tried to commit suicide (mental health issues) my employer was there for me. I get unlimited sick days - the aforementioned suicide attempt resulted in over 6 months off at full pay - so of course, I came back to work very much ready to get back into it.

Im not in the US, mate. Im originally from the UK myself.

If youre trying to convince me that its a better country than the US in many ways, no need. Id already agree with you.

If Id grown up in the US, Id have been absolutely fucked by a cancer diagnosis about a week before I turned 21.
