Both are on the (currently losing) Dolphins, but the Jets are still totally capable of choking a 12 point lead with less than 8 minutes left
KCF is also on the (definitely losing) Raiders

We could end up with a very very large tiebreaker depending on how things shake out.

I think a Miami win would singlehandedly clinch almost every remaining playoff spot in the league, though.

Any chance someone could give an update prior to the Sunday night game? In case people want to rethink picks or tiebreakers.

I don't see an issue with someone flipping their pick. It's just adding things up after all. Now, maybe the final week picks shouldn't be made publicly but that's a separate issue.

It's more someone doing it at the last second. I've always had an issue with the last-second change because it's just so "ew"

I did have a successful change of my own this week, but I blame the idiots on ESPN radio for saying Purdy was playing. I've barely actually watched the NFL this year so I kind of never expected to even be in playoff position.

I'll be honest that I looked at the picks of the people around me this week. I flipped one game (from Rams to Seahawks) because everyone picked the other team. Did a bit of research that the Rams were sitting a lot of people and so it made sense to change it. I don't pay enough attention to know which teams are going to sit people when it's not a super obvious situation like KC.

Last second picks always seem to bite me in the ass, so I generally don't do it unless there's something crazy like a starting QB being out.

This was the first year I didn't do that. I just picked the teams I thought would win I have OCDed far less than normal this year but I also haven't watched much so it might just be because I'm less invested.

(Then I noticed I was lied to and fixed one of them.)

I'm willing to wager the Jets and Vikings are both upset picks but to be frank I needed a couple anyway. I'm probably still out if the Vikings lose.

I actually have an history, somehow, of hitting big upsets specifically on the Jets in the final week as part of a playoff push.

Oh I know what I did wrong.

They're 12 and 14, not 13 and 15.

If the Vikings win, whoever wins the Cody/Wigs tiebreaker will still advance.

If the Lions win, Cody, Wigs, and Tgs or ZeroSignal (they will tiebreak KCF by winning the game) advance.

Right now if the 1st quarter's saying anything, tgs might have me on the tiebreaker

Darnold looked pretty bad on that first Vikings drive, we'll have to see how it goes.

I was off by 25 points on the score, you were off by 19.
I was exactly right on the INTs.
I was closer on the passing yards (397 total).

Tiebreakers have never been "best of", though sometimes I wonder if they should be. They have an order to them.

We both had the Lions winning by 3, so that cancels out. Being closer on the overall points means I win tiebreaker 1 so I remain the Lord of the 6 seed.

What often gets me in the playoffs is I hit TB2 and 3 great, but my TB1 is utter shit and it ruins me.

Tiebreaker one was so loosely designed that it was actually three tiebreakers in one which usually doesn't happen, though. Overall points was effectively the TB3 of TB1.

I'm kinda worried our TB1 is going to be something like choosing the team that wins by the most because that's a goddamn nightmare when I can easily see 4 or 5 blowouts next week because hitting that might be the sole deciding factor as to who advances. Texans Steelers and Broncos are all going to fucking die.

I can't remember any recent conference as easy to pick as the AFC's first round here.

Maybe we need some spread based pick'ems?

I don't know, the Chargers are still the Chargers. Picking against them is never a wholly terrible idea.

My tiebreakers are probably going to be

1) Pick the team to score the most points
2) Pick the team to score the least points
3) Total passing yards in Tampa/Washington

I generally prefer more numerical tiebreakers because it's way too easy to end up with a full-on tie otherwise

i think i forgot to do the tiebreakers, so good on me i guess

BTW, congrats to Camden for winning the regular season despite a subpar week 18 showing! And to foxhead84 and 5tarscream for their podium place finishes!

Probably would have made playoffs if I didn't miss games this year.
