It has been an interesting multi-day meltdown. Something about the common view that the murder of this CEO is just another example of a villain getting killed has triggered many people.

This is what I mean by perpetually confused people getting angry because they never understand anything, and then directing that anger towards people who actually do know what they're talking about.

"Mass shooting" is not its own unique crime. Mass shooters get charged with murder, so no there is no legal difference. Dylann Roof and Luigi were both charged with murder.

Your implications that the scope of the killings / victim of the killings don't influence how the crimes are dealt with is cute

Oh you seem to not understand the conversation you are in.
We are saying it's weird you are comparing him to a mass shooter when he only went after one person.
He is being treated far harsher than a murderer who killed one person would be.
Would you like me to list some examples of a murderer who was not given federal cahrges?

The fact that you keep saying he is no differen't than a mass shooter is rather confusing to me. I don't see them as the same thing at all.

If youre going to make claims that this case isnt being treated out of the ordinary, you need to provide cases of lower class individuals being murdered (not mass shootings) that have had this level of action from the government/elite in both making an example of and preventing further happenings of using taxpayer money. It's another thing I'm going to have to get used to in Trump's America. A shocking number of people being put to death, and possibly at least some of them are innocent.

Luigi doesn't deserve the death penalty, and only the most heinous and sickest individuals really only deserve the death penalty. I'm fine with him getting decades of prison, but all these mountain of charges for the murder of one person is disturbing and you wouldn't see this level of treatment if a non-rich person was murdered.

This is like the third time having to explain this to you, but murder is murder. Doing it "only" once does not save you from the death penalty or federal charges.
It usualy does in both the state he was from and commited the murder in.
Hence why we are saying this is being treated differently.

Understand now?

Stop inventing things to get angry about.

Wait, so you honestly believe that once you've committed one murder, you can then commit as many as you want without additional punishment beyond the first one?

Under the law they are LITTERALLY THE SAME.

A person who commits 9 murders is simply tried for each case, but the max punishment does not change.

It's funny to see these arguments made in all seriousness by people who are completely blind to how pitifully weak these arguments are.

It's literally like "2 + 2 = 5" followed up with "and I'm the smartest person on the planet for saying so".
