If it was done to protect the insurance industry in some way, there's no way in hell they would've gone out of their way to write on the casings to confirm peoples' expectations about the motive.

If this was upper management wet work/a professional hit, putting a populist message on the shell casings would be a perfect red herring to fuck with the investigation.

Heres what I find weird. How did the suspect know the CEO wasnt staying at the Hilton where the investor meeting was taking place? He was staying at a Marriott and thats why he crossed the street.

Call me lazy but if I had a meeting in a hotel and i wasnt paying for the room, I would stay at the hotel the meeting was at. How did this guy know that this CEO would not be staying at that Hilton? Because yeah the investor meeting is public knowledge but where people stay at is not.

The general publics opinion on the matter raised an interesting question.

Being if individuals such as this are just as responsible for the death/harm of their victims or insurers here I guess as commanders in war whose orders unlawfully and unnecessarily results in the same as countless civilians/prisoners of war.

To which Im incline to agree that it does. And it seems many others are starting to either agree or at least question that also.

In essence? Anesthesiologists were lying and fraudulently marking down the time people were under. When MEdicare implemented the rule, patients were unaffected but fraud rates went down.

This isn't "Boy, we stuck it to those evil insurance companies!" We just ensured fraud will continue unabated, and guess what happens to our premiums when that happens? This isn't even an example of wicked companies cost cutting, this was literally first implemented via Medicare!

Police released a photo of the suspect with no mask on. They also started searching the hostel they think he was staying at. Apparently he kept his mask on most of the time there, but took it off at least once and got caught on surveillance during it.

No I never said or suggested they would be cut off mid surgery, just that they'd wake up with a bill for $200k more than they were expecting because that's what denying coverage means.

Insurance fraud is already illegal with legal processes already in place to recover the money lost in that fraud. There is no reason for insurance providers to change policy because of fraud on the part of doctors.

It's already been shown there has been no declined in patient care, patients aren't paying higher costs or being cut off. All that's happening is anestheologists aren't profiting fraudulently.

No, they're not 'waking up with massive bills' because now the anestheologists cannot charge for more than what is necessary. This is not very difficult.

CEO are kinda of exceptions. And Cardiologists make more money. They get payed like $260/hr.

This makes me wonder, is vigilante justice the only justice regular people can get against the rich and powerful?

The laws are set up to favour them, lawsuits dont really affect them, they can fail upwards and never get punished for anything.

hospitals would tell doctors they *have* to finish procedures before the insurance allowance for anesthesia runs out.
