I'm bored, maybe I'll get some titles to look up. I don't mind if you are playing on an Android phone, an iOS tablet or even just playing retro gamees on a handheld emulation device.

For me, along with my usual FGO gacha stuff, I picked up Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the Google Play store for NZ$5 so I can play it on the bus with my Retroid 3+. Runs really nice on it. Managed to do the Death skip trick to keep Alucard's starting gear. >:D

On my Steamdeck right now I am playing the System Shock Remake.

On my phone when I am bored I have Dragon Quest IX loaded up. Dragon Quest IX on a phone DS emulator is unironically better controlling than most actual DQ phone ports.

On that note, I am honestly puzzled as to why DQIX never got an official phone port. Dragon Quest 1-8 did and DQIX is the one that fits the mobile platform the best.

The last game I played on a mobile device was Snake. On my brick phone in 2001 or so.

I hate the concept of mobile gaming, and resist it with every fiber of my being.

Not the bus I catch. Some routes have a WiFi supported bus though.

Can successfully emulate systems as far as the Dreamcast. I've also run some Gamecube and PS2 titles, but if you are interested in those, better to have a later model. I've also picked up various gamepad supported Android games to play on it, such as the mentioned Castlevania.

The only two games I've played on my phone are Downwell and Strange Telephone as they are unique games that are designed very well for the platform. Although it's been years since.

Never heard of this one, but found it on Steam and looks interesting. Added it to the wishlist there, since Google Play costs more.

Yeah, I forgot it's on Steam as well. I can't remember where I heard of it, but it was recommended to be played on mobile as it's themed around it. But should be just as enjoyable on PC.

Balatro

Retro Bowl - Tecmo Bowl kinda game. It's free, but if you pay $1 it allows you to unlock expanded rosters and weather effects and a couple other quality of life features

Clash of Clans - they just released Town Hall 17 update. I'm still upgrading my TH15 tho...

Rebirth of Glory. I don't really enjoy this game but I keep playing it for some reason.

Such an awesome game. Are you playing version 1 or 2? 2 seemed really promising, however the limitation on ability uses they introduced kind of ruined it for many people. Such a shame as 2 appeared to have added so many other great features.

Version 1 I still haven't tried part 2 because of the feedback I heard on it lol

Why? Boring?

I don't play a lot of mobile games, but one that I really liked was Candies n' Curses, an arcade style action game with roguelite elements. Great gameplay, cute art style, and fantastic music.

it's a weird bastardization of actual pokemon tcg, if you go into it looking for that

your deck size is reduced from 60 to 20, prize cards from 6 to 3, resistances don't exist and weaknesses add fixed damage, energies work differently, and the gacha element is very heavy

amd above all else there is nothing to do.
no rewards from battling and you open 1 pack every 12 hours. thats it. nothing else.

Ah, so similar to Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links then.

yeah actually, that's exactly right

both are fine on their own as a speedier simpler experience, but if you wanna play real yugioh, you'd play master duel and not duel links

the thing about duel links though is it has so much to do in it, even at launch the comparison is laughable
