Sent requests to everyone but WhiteLens as I had hit the friend request limit by the time I got there. Note to self to send one later.

I got Nidoran F, Snorlax and Charizard EX this morning. I hadn't gotten any new cards in a while, then I get three new ones in one day. Charizard was in a different pack from the other two.

I have dreadful luck on Wonder Pick. Three times now, the card I'm aiming for started in the bottom left, I picked one of the others, and I found the card hadn't moved from the bottom left. Does anyone else's Wonder Picks not move? I'm tempted to pick where the target card started, but then I fear it would start moving again as soon as I did that.

I saw that but it's flawed. By the time he hits 2 through 5, the server already knows the result of his pick so would spit back out whatever it knew he already got

The counter argument to it mattering is if you close the game during pack opening before picking a pack, you still get the cards because it already knows what you got as the roulette doesn't matter. If you do the same in wonder pick it critically does not give you a card as it doesn't know what you picked.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure what the methodology was used, so I put it in the "maybe" pile

This has been my strategy, to just pick where the card you want was showing up. It might help slightly, but I have been burned a lot of times doing this too, so I doubt it. It's random.

my strat is always pick the top middle

I always pick top right.

I pick different every time

I always pick the same for my own sanity. If I'm wrong I can't blame myself for picking "wrong".

Got the 3 Gold Star Charizard EX with the cool animation. Hopefully someone wonder picks it from me if they want it.

I saw the notice say new flairs available during the event, so I figured that meant there'd be an extra purpose to picking for all the various Fire types... but then I kept scrolling and no, the only new flair is for Arcanine EX.

but I already have 3 of the three-diamond and 1 of the 2-star Arcanine EX cards

also flairs seem kinda wasteful if there's going to be trading eventually

Well, got an Arcanine Ex from one of the wonder picks from the event. That and the regular Charizard are the only basic fire cards I didn't have, at least it's one off the list, even if it did cost a few hourglasses.

I got 10 packs of charizards and that was like pack 2. It was definitely the second best pack in the stack though. The 3 star was pack 10 which is why I figured it'd show and alerted you all. But didn't know they couldn't show.

I guess it shows the best pack in your stack if you get the groups of ten? Or maybe it's just random I dunno.

I have like 298 hourglasses right now. I sort of want to do the 10 packs at once for the novelty, but I also am missing like 13-16 cards in each of the three pack varieties. It feels like a waste unless I should just target the one with the most missing EX cards, which I think that's Mewtwo even though I have almost certainly opened that pack the most.

Event got me my first Charmeleon

Opening 10 packs is kinda fun, I figured I'll run out of hourglasses eventually so not many opportunities to do it.

I got the Arcanine ex from the event.

I got a Ninetales so far from the event, which is good because I hadn't pulled one from packs yet

I watched one of my friends open 10 packs when he just started and get only 2 or 3 3 diamond cards from all 10 and all the rest were common/uncommons. Definitely nothing better than a 3 diamond. He had only just started so didn't realize how atrocious this was and I didn't have the heart to tell him

If anyone needs an Articuno EX, I just got one and hopefully I show up on Wonder Pick

Dumb question but what's "rare" about the rare wonder pick? Is it just the fact that it has the arcanine EX as a possibility? Or do cards picked from these rare picks have the special flair as an option?

I think it's just an event WP so it's rare in the sense that it's different.

Not sure the specific rate but it feels like less often than every hour. Feels more like every 2-3 that a new one pops up.

From skimming my card dex I think I could do a 10x draw of Pikachu without worrying about redundancy.

I generally do 10s for the hourglass draws. I dunno it's just more satisfying to me.

If it's the same mechanics as the Meowth event, then each time one of your Wonder Pick options expires, it has a % chance of being replaced with an event pick (with the bonus ones being more common than the rare one). I think it was like a 10% chance of being the bonus pick and a 2.5% chance of being the rare pick.

happened to me except it was the rapidash - which was also the only card in the draw I already HAD. -_-

Pulled a second full art Pidgeot (I still do not have regular Pidgeot) and figured I'd see what the fuss was and make a Pidgeot/Arbok deck.

Then I realized I somehow still only have one Pidgey. @_@

My Wonder Picks have been pretty bad the whole time I've been playing, I think I've gotten the rare I wanted about three or four times total

I now have 4 Charmeleon and 3 Charizard, but no Charmander.

I also decided to do the novel 10 pack opening (I do wish that you had the option to mix booster packs) and got five new cards:

Golbat
Helioisk
"Full Art" Articuno EX
Venusaur EX
Eelektross

I'd say that this worth going from 302 to 183 hourglasses
