Not gonna lie, it's hard not to get anxious as a LGBTQ person.

I'm really really hoping that it's just some dumb outlier polls, but after 2016...eesh. Hard not to worry a bit.

Even beyond that, it's wild to me that this is anywhere near close in any capacity. The Trump campaign has been a flaming trainwreck all around with gaffe after gaffe after gaffe, they've offered nothing resembling coherent policy, and Trump is the same fuck up that he was in 2020 just with a much more rotted brain and a team of much angrier, more insidious jackasses around him plotting shit if he wins. It's truly wild that anyone outside of the cult would be like "Yeah idk that sounds pretty good."

I don't understand how he would be gaining new voters. He should lose the woman vote period. It's another 4 years since Biden won, there should be less boomers now and more Gen z that can vote.

I don't understand it.

maybe someone said this already but young folks dont answer polls and theyre fired up to vote against Trump.

Again

I reread the entire Fortune article that I posted and I don't see it there. If the article's showing up wrong for me or something it'd be nice if someone could quote the part of the article that mentions the WSJ poll having been worked on by a GOP pollster. I do not see it.

I was only able to find out that a Republican pollster had been hired on the main WSJ article itself. WSJ puts up annoying paywalls, so I'm reluctant to visit it unless necessary.

Again, someone please quote the portion of the Fortune article that presents this information. Because if it's not actually in there then a lot of these replies are unjustified.

People often say "What about the margin of error" but every poll on there was outside of the margin of error.

Same thing goes here, with one exception.

But again Fetterman would've been leading if the fake poll mills of the GOP were excluded from RCP's average. Trafalgar and InsiderAdvantage are perpetually wrong and don't deserve attention.

Gotta love Diceheist trying to deflect away from the fact that Trump's personal pollster was involved with the WSJ poll. It doesn't matter who else was involved, WSJ knew exactly what they were doing when they asked Trump's personal pollster to help conduct a poll for them. And of course said poll doesn't match polls conducted by legitimate pollsters.

After a whole hour it's pretty clear that the information was not in the Fortune article I posted. So the 3 users who claimed I "didn't read it" (or dishonestly suppressed data from it) were outright gaslighting.

The Forbes poll is straight up worse (Trump also 2 points ahead, but with no undecideds for Harris to draw from) and I'm not familiar with them being discredited.

While GOP margins are up for in-person early voting they're still heavily avoidant of mail-in voting, which may be hampering their early turnout still.

What are you talking about? It's up more than normal regardless, and the margins aren't being made up by that increase. You are talking about another thing that you have no evidence for the current election. I'm using the info we already have.
