Clearly the poll is asking specifically about the pictures nominated for the year given, and not asking for a wide open interpretation of what picture should have won. Not that difficult to parse it's weird that people are struggling with this

Beauty and the beast was the first movie my parents took me too as a child and I apparently got bored and wanted out almost immediately

Didn't like silence of the lambs tbh. Seems to have inspired every serial killer in existence by making the cannibal out to be an anti-hero with super powers or something. Also pretty abysmal portrayal of trans people that a ton of people took way too seriously, not that that generation had a rosey view of them anyway. Mostly I just forgot about it on top of those two things.

Same reason I hate Dexter. Every serial killer cites Dexter like it's their Bible.

I'm not sure what universe you're living in, but it doesn't seem to be the same one the rest of us exist in.

No idea, but voted Beauty of the Beast - it's the only one of those I've watched.

There are several movies from that year that I enjoyed, though.
