Can never have a stretch where 2-4 guys are hot and 2-4 are cold, it's either feast or famine. Don't think Thompson has ever done that. I don't think a perpetual hard-ass like Larry Bowa is the answer, but I've never heard of Thompson tearing into the players like Charlie would on occasion (or the times he pulled Rollins for not hustling).
