Only twice since 1950 have a majority of white women voted for a Democratic presidential candidate Lyndon Johnson and Bill Clinton. They didnt support Barack Obama in his two historic terms as the nations first Black president. And they didnt help elect Hillary Rodham Clinton as the nations first woman president.

Instead, they supported Trump over the former secretary of state 47% to 45%, according to Pew Research. Four years later, Trumps share of white women voters increased to 53% in his unsuccessful reelection bid against President Joe Biden.

Even if they do break for Harris, it won't be because of Harris, but because of what Trump and Republicans have done to women's rights.

It's still astonishing that they consistently vote against Democrats. Like why did they not break for Gore over Bush? Or even Biden.

I'm just curious as to what it is about Dem policy that they don't like. Is it inclusiveness? Dem policies have been shown to be historically better for all Americans than Republican policies. They've also shown they can manage the economy better, jobs better, and so on. Yet for whatever reason, women just constantly flock to the Republican party. And I feel like this needs to really be explored.

Thats been the status quos in this country for how long? I think QoL is what should be taken more into account.

Since I thing most people would prefer living paycheck to paycheck over that having a poor QoL.

I think living paycheck to paycheck is interchangeable with quality of life. I've been there myself along with others I know.

It always comes down to perceived taxes. In the end, majority of white people want to keep what they believe that they have or deserve.

The issue isn't taxes, it's stolen wages.

The issue is the amount of variables in the term. As even a high earner can be living paycheck to paycheck the same as a mid or low income individual. But their QoLs could vary widely.

And I'd also add that living paycheck to paycheck means that a simply emergency could end up leaving someone homeless.

I mean, I'd rather trust data, that is tracked continously and taken by the federal govt, than a "Payroll.org" poll.
