I think the combination of porn, abortion have basically created a lonely, isolated generation that isnt getting married, theyre not having families, and theyre actually not even totally sure how to interact with each other, Vance said in a newly unearthed interview with Crisis Magazine from August 2021.

The Crisis Magazine writer added that after asking him his thoughts on porn and birth control and their effects on familial decline, Vance admitted he wants to outright ban pornography.

Of course the guy obsessed with people increasingly choosing not to have kids is blaming declining birthrates on porn and abortion. Of course he wants to ban porn. Of course he wants to ban abortions. Trump is a menace to democracy, but this guy might actually be worse. And given that Trump is old, obese, and in a constant state of anger, we can't let this guy become VP.

PS - Him blaming fewer marriages on abortion is a tacit admission that he supports two people marrying solely because of unwanted pregnancies. Add to that the right's stance on no-fault divorces, and you've got a nation of people trapped in loveless marriages. That's the American JD Vance wants for us.

My friends and family members who dont want kids cite things like climate change and the horrible proliferation of guns as reasons not to bring more lives into this world. Genuine threats that the GOP is uninterested in doing anything about as long as donations and wedge issue voters keep rolling in.

None of them mention porn. Vance and the GOP are just weird and creepy as fuck.

Add free or reasonable day care and I would have another kid. Make all these free and I would have 2 more kids. Solution is so simple, but of course its just virtue signaling to fan the culture war flames. Also weird how all these tech people are obsessed with the birth rate. Poorer communities (and by communities at large I mean countries in general) already have more children than rich ones. So that's actually just inaccurate. They're going on with a flawed premise.

Poor people can't even afford to watch porn because they may not have the time or resources to do so.

None of their plans will make people start having children. The reason it's not working in the US is because corporations have made it unviable. You don't have enough time, money and several politicians want to strip away protections for people to be more likely to have a child and not care.

If you strip away these things, all you'll see are things like coat hanger abortions making a comeback.
