MAD LAST WORLD NiGHTS And Reala Crumble Soul (Extended Mix) In match 3, theres a story there about how after Tales of Far East Soul was out of the picture I realized I like Compass, but instead I want to talk about Crumble Soul. Crumble Soul is so good! It does the peaceful song gets all messed up and distorted thing in a subtler way than how that usually happens, where from 1:27-2:23 the focus being on the peaceful beat and the whispers draws your attention away from the ominous sounds going on below the surface. And that leads into the best part of the song, 2:24-2:58. The vocals being not in a natural language (as dowolf aptly put it) makes them feel more universal, as if they are expressing something that is understood through emotions rather than words. In a contest full of great vocals, these stand out not by being the most powerful, but the most captivating. WILL: Nazca no Oka (Long Version) WANT: Prowler With how much faith I had in Jungle Journey, why am I not picking Kind Lady? Two reasons. One, Nazca has faced strong competition and looked strong against it. It doubled Same Old Story and got 10 votes over Danger, and those are 2 songs that Im willing to give a fair amount of credit to. Two, assuming Kind Lady is that strong means giving more credit to Death by Glamour than Im willing to, at least for now. --- Tune in to over a decade of VGM history with the VGMC playlists!
