This was also IX's first loss of the contest. Games (with multiple reps) still intact: V, VII, XV, XVI, T. VII is the clear standout, yet to lose any of its twelve characters.

Not to worry, the next round will be much, much longer!

One rough hard boot (Doomtrain) and one tough soft boot (Quistis), not terrible so far, although we're not out of the woods yet

Auron was a bad boot, too, but other than that, not much to complain about so far

What's the upcoming format change, and does it require 2 saves to be safe?

1 save per hour, 2 saves to be safe

until we get close to the end almost every rule change is designed to get the total saves around 150-160 so you can do the math each time there's a rule change

Narshe Moogles only works when the main FF6 cast gets booted

Well, I brought up the idea of Setzer's Moogle replacement and nobody bit. And Terra doesn't even have one so that's a bust for next year too.
