Been simmering on this a minute, but basically: if you like a game, what else would you like that's like that? Sometimes it would be for games from popular series just to see what else to check out in the series, but also there are a lot of great one-off games that may not have other games as clearly related to them.
Thinking of a scoring system like: +3 +2 +1 +1 +1 Tally the answers, then name the top three as the "winners" for each game. For example, SMB1: SMB3, SMW, NSMB (just guessing here). This would be less predictable for something like, say, Mischief Makers. Would you be interested? Open for interesting games to start with: I was thinking Conker's Bad Fur Day or Super Mario Sunshine would be both popular enough and unique enough to start with, but this is open to other suggestions. I would like this a lot. Would vote where I feel like I have something to add, though my gaming library is definitely not as expansive as many folks' on this board.

Sounds fun, though I can see the participation being very hit and miss depending on the day's game.

Good points about participation. I can start with some popular and/or unique board favorite games and series to see how it does the first few times before going into the deeper cuts.
Maybe something like: Majora's Mask Chrono Trigger Portal Xenoblade Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Mega Man 9 Dunno that doing Phoenix Wright would be interesting to do yet given its OG trilogy that we tend to group together, but maybe with enough nominations we could find out. --- O P E R A T I O N O U S T : Nominate SHEIK! https://i.imgur.com/OpudFxm.jpg ... Yeah I'd have way better answers for movies, but could probably still participate w/games some of the time

Good point! I'm mostly interested in the game-side of things, personally, but would be open to every few days trying something outside of that category.

Also, I plan to allow nominations, yes. I plan to lead off with the first few while nominations come in but I would be happy to keep them on standby and use them.

Would you have to stick to the same category?
For example, say the topic was "If You Like Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney" I would probably list My Cousin Vinny (movie), Boston Legal (tv), pretty much any John Grisham novel before I'd think of a similar game to recommend. --- "DiGiorno's for the oven, Totino's for the microwave... and the memories are for us." - Angela Giarratana ... That's a good question. In your example of Phoenix Wright being nominated, I don't know if people would rather have three games like PW recommended or three things in general like PW (which might include its own show and movie as two of the three things).
