None, if you consider Appmon as "technically not Digimon".

If you consider Appmon as Digimon though, well.....less than 160. (What do you expect, it only lasted for one season lol)

Final evolution is always either a hot babe, armoured dude or gun. This one seems to be a mix of 2 and 3. Well, as far as a stealth drone counts as a gun.

Reminds me of Gallantmon with Brawny in Digimon Tamers, who I believe turned into Gallantmon Crimson Mode at the very end.

There is also another new Digimon from Digimon New Century, apparently called Chang'emon, based on "Chang'e", Chinese version of moon goddess. But there's not much info about it yet.

I really like this jacket. Just wish the backside and sleeves were empty in stead of the text/crests.

That Pyramidimon is pretty cool looking. I like the claws. Although they should have taken advantage of the midi in his name to make it a musical type Digimon as well.

That sounds like it has potential.

I pre-ordered this a few months ago when it was announced and it said the release date was December 12th, with an estimated delivery date of December 18th. I had no idea I was going to get it a month early!

I watched part 1 with Tai and Kari first meeting Koromon with the redub. It understandably sounded a bit rough as the voice actors have aged 20+ years since this movie first came out, but I really enjoyed it. What threw me off was the removal of the original music/songs. It felt more like the original Japanese version with some added scenes (Greymon stabbing Parrotmon's beak with his horn was a bit savage. I think I also saw some blood). There's also a scene with their dad coming home drunk. Don't think I've ever seen that part before. Then I went back and watched part 1 of the original version which comes included with the Blu Ray. I need to finish the whole thing as it's been too long since I've seen this movie.

I highly recommend everyone buying this Blu Ray to support the series. Either on Crunchyroll or Amazon. I don't believe there's a digital version. Hopefully if the sales pass expectations, Toei will release the Digimon Tamers + Digimon Frontier movies which seem lost in time.

And what a great time to replay it. I started my replay around last December or so. Got pretty far but never managed to finish the game. I need to go back but my sister bought me another game for my birthday a few weeks ago so I'm trying to stay focused on playing that. Not quite sure yet. I usually just go with my favorite Digimon (Guilmon) plus whatever else catches my interest. A buddy of mine did a themed team, specifically his team consisted of the human-like Digimon.

This is why I'll always be mildly salty that Tri "changed" Gomamon's mega from Plesiomon to Vikemon. >_>

it's still both no matter what, Plesiomon should be the canon warp evo and Vikemon only from previous level.

Gonna guess they just went with the one that looks more like an evolved Zudomon.

Plesiomon would have been awesome though.

Yeah, especially considering the way the debut evolution into Vikemon is portrayed in Adventure reboot, they clearly wanted a Mega that looks like it actually came from Zudomon.

But I personally don't mind Plesiomon.

Plesiomon is okay but Vikemon is a fucking badass Digimon. Just look at this entry from Wikimon.

A Beast Man-type Ultimate Digimon which governs the freezing lands of the permafrost, where nothing ever thaws. Its fur has become like ice crystals, and is said to be as hard as Chrome Digizoid. With the morning star "Mjllnir" it carries on its back, it can annihilate a mountain in one swing, distorting space itself. It manages the Ikkakumon and Zudomon corps, and though in the midst of battle it appears as a heartless berserker, it shows a face of great compassion for its subordinates. Its Special Move "Arctic Blizzard" momentarily brings the surrounding atmosphere to absolute zero, flash-freezing the opponent, who it then smashes with Mjllnir. That the opponent's smashed body becomes like a blizzard is what gave it the name.

The card game is finally going to introduce Appmon.

I think they'll likely just gonna be treated as Level 3-4-5-6 (Rookie-Champion-Ultimate-Mega) for the purpose of the card game, to keep it simple, instead of using the official stage designation that Appmons usually have (Standard-Super-Ultimate-God).

I can see the monster cards listing them as Appmon instead of Digimon, though.

I wonder how that will work out because the packaging shows MetalGreymon, Agunimon, Magnamon and WarGrowlmon on the packaging. They also have the word convergence. It makes me think Bandai will officially combine Digimon and Appmon together as to not confuse people. I'm excited to add some new Digimon cards to my collection.

It probably took awhile because they were debating on whether they want to merge Appmon into Digimon or not. That's my guess, at least.

Appmon was meant to be a spin-off that feature a similar looking but different creatures, they even go as far as giving them not only a different species name (Appmon instead of Digimon), but also, they even have Appmon as originating from a different location, not the Digital World.

Been a while since I've bought some new Digimon cards. Going to hit up Legends on Wednesday to see if they have any good packs. I was at the Target by my house after work today but they never carry them anymore.

Saw a LovelyAngemon fanart recently, which makes me remember, it's still amusing to me that LovelyAngemon's first reveal was from a game leak lol

Last January I got hit with COVID pretty hard and started watching Digimon Adventure 01 - Digimon Frontier on Hulu. Thinking about starting over again. Anyone interested in joining me? Although I will most likely skip Adventure 02 as I barely got through it last time.

Hopefully we'll soon hear news about Appmon and the "Link" keyword from the TCG.

Also I still think Maquinamon from Digimon Liberator is actually an Appmon.....
