I ordered vietnamese food after my procedure and it was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Hunger truly is the best spice. The butt geyser isn't exactly fun, but it isn't generally awful unless you start getting irritated. Scope itself isn't bad at all. Most painful part is getting the IV. If you're like the last two I had where the knockout drugs were fentanyl and versed, you'll be groggy for a few hours after. --- Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand. My only snag was coming awake during my procedure and that really hurt until they knocked me back out. I also came away during an EGD procedure and that sucked until they knocked me back out. Tell them to go hard on the anesthesia from the start instead of increasing it as you feel pain...because you WILL feel pain.
