I want Sony to continue with their anti-consumer practices so theyll get destroyed as a company, rather than do the right thing and stop with the anti-consumer practice that would have screwed over thousands of people iscertainly a take.

There's a troll part of me that wants to say yes, but unfortunately I have a friend, who put tons of hours into Helldivers 2, that would get absolutely fucked if they went through with this.

If you're asking in good faith, my friend lives in Cambodia and he can't make a PSN account there so he would effectively lose access to a game he puts hundreds of hours in. He could just ask for a refund, but he really really loves the game and it would overall would've sucked for him to put that many hours into a game.

im not really sure how all this works but cant he make a vpn account then set his location in the us then make the account then link it? does that work?

It does, but that would effectively break the "ToS" and can effectively get you banned if they somehow found out about it.

im a lonely angry DOOMER and i hate everything but i love drama and i love things getting canceled and im so disappointed that we didnt have much ACTION i thought sony is gonna get canceled and get HATED but no its all over and everything is back to normal and everyone is happy again. FUCK.
