Other than maybe Myanmar I can't think of a country that should have UN arms embargo on it more than Israel. Sudan shouldn't be getting weapons but they aren't near the top of the list.

It's a really weird conflict. Russia is supporting the side that is lead by a guy already wanted for genocide from 20 years ago. A lot of American allies like Egypt and Turkey support the government. So the US supporting neither side is a weird take.

I don't disagree with Israel being worse than Russia even though I think that's more to do with Ukraine's defensive capabilities than anything.

I do think a case for Myanmar being a worse regime can be made. Considering they not only committed genocide themselves but also democide against the people who elected the government they overthrew and are now trying to massacre in a civil war.
