I'd go with Roaches or Flies. They are the most annoying indoor pest. Mosquitoes are bad but I only deal with them outside.

They aren't. Mosquitos are not the primary food for any animal. And, unlike a lot of other animals on the list, they aren't decomposers either. Pure parasites. Fuck em.

this is likely untrue and doesn't really follow recent science.

some studies have looked at food web changes after mosquito eradications with bti and there are some very apparent changes that happen when you remove mosquitoes in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems

Ultimately, there seem to be few things that mosquitoes do that other organisms cant do just as well except perhaps for one. They are lethally efficient at sucking blood from one individual and mainlining it into another, providing an ideal route for the spread of pathogenic microbes.
