I was straight up insulted by matches after they figured out I wasn't making a lot of money, and some even talked shit about my interests. I'm sure if I tried Hinge these days whoever I'd match with would end up calling me a loser or some shit. Took a break, revamped my profile and got on tinder as well, got a bunch of matches this time and got a date lined up for this weekend. Overall it's been a more positive experience than I was expecting based on the way people talk about it (though I imagine that varies greatly by where you are and relative attractiveness).
